NHL-
Madison Square Garden
Prudential Center
Nassau Coliseum
TD Garden
Wachovia Center
First Niagara Center (Then HSBC)
Joe Louis Arena

Favorite: Excluding MSG because of bias, either the Prudential Center or the JLA.
Least: Either Wachovia or Nassau. Nassau is so decrepit but the views are great.

Before the lockout a few of my boys and I were planning on going to Carolina for a NYR game. We'll have to see what a new schedule would look like if there even is a season. Within the next few years I wanna get to Carolina/Washington/Montreal.

Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver
GM Place - Vancouver (NBA game)
Rexall Place - Edmonton
Saddledome - Calgary
Madison Square Garden - NY

Interior Savings Center - Kamloops
Prospera Place - Kelowna
Centrium - Red Deer
Key Arena - Seattle

Favorite is Rexall. Home arena, championship banners etc.

Key Arena was quite empty so not a great hockey atmosphere and the Calgary Saddledome was a lot quieter than I expected.

Why is your least favorite the only NHL arena you've been to?

I'd imagine Consol is much better than Mellon...?

Junior:
Brandt Center - Regina Pats - went for 2010 WJCs
Credit Union Center - Saskatoon Blades - 2010 WJCs again

NCAA:
Edwards Arena - Northeastern Huskies
Murray Athletic Center - Elmira College

ECHL:
Wheeling Civic Center - Wheeling Nailers - went once to a Nailers game and a few times to WVU basketball games there
Dorton Arena - Raleigh Icecaps (RIP)

AHL:
Giant Center - Hershey Bears

NHL:
Bell Centre - Montreal Canadiens
Madison Square Garden - New York Rangers
Raleigh ESA/RBC Center/PNC Arena - Carolina Hurricanes
Greensboro Coliseum - Carolina Hurricanes
Boston Garden - Boston Bruins
Hartford Civic Center - Hartford Whalers
Verizon Center - Washington Capitals
Civic Arena - Pittsburgh Penguins
Phillips Arena - Atlanta Thrashers
St Pete Times Forum - Tampa Bay Lightning
Bridgestone Arena - Nashville Predators

Planning:
Time Warner Cable Arena - Charlotte Checkers (AHL)
Consol Energy Center - Pittsburgh Penguins
Xcel Energy Center - Minnesota Wild
MTS Centre - Winnipeg Jets

MSG was by far the worst of the NHL arenas. That said, Hartford was when I was like 10 so I probably wasn't the best judge of hockey asthetics at that point

NHL: Madison Square Garden, Nassau Coliseum

AHL: Giant Center (Hershey Bears)

I want to go to Barclays Center and will probably go to the XL Center for a Whale game if the lockout drags on long enough.

Best one is between Pepsi and Jobbing. Worst is easily Rexall.
And yet in Edmonton people talk about it like its awesome, you have people against the new arena because they like rexall. Being against public money on arenas is one thing how anybody can say rexall place is nice and doesnt need to be replaced blows my mind

CONSOL has ZERO character to it. It's boring. Mellon arena had a ton of character to it.

STH, I've been going for 15+ years and have probably been to hundreds of games, I honestly don't care that much. Of course it would be nice to have a new rink but Rexall is still a pretty decent place to watch a game it's not like the walls are crumbling down and it's decrepit. At the end of the day I'm still sitting in a small cushioned chair in a concrete building. It sells out and is loud and thrilling when the team is actually playing good, or even when they win a game in one of their crappy years.

Of course it could be better, I've been to more than 5 other arenas and it's honestly not that big of a deal. It's old and boring but if the team is winning I don't really care and my seats are in a great location - I'd probably be farther from the ice in the new rink. I'm at the game to watch my favorite team and my favorite players play hockey and maybe have a few beers, not eat sushi or a steak dinner and drink martinis.

Prudential Center, and the Meadowlands/Continental/Brendan Byrne.
MSG
Nassau Coliseum
Spectrum
Wachovia/Wells Fargo Center
Mellon Arena
Tampa Bay Times Forum
Bank Atlantic Center
Mcnichols Sports Arena in Denver back when the Avalanche first moved there.
Whatever they call the Arena in Hartford where the Whalers used to play.

Bank Atlantic, and Prudential are the nicest out of these venues. Mellon Arena was good for the experience though.

Least favorite is obviously Nassau Coliseum. The Meadowlands, and Mcnichols in Denver were kinda dumpy too.

No plans to visit anywhere new really at this moment.

Only Jobing.com.

I was planning on going to all the California arenas and possibly Colorado this year, but it doesn't look like that will be happening.

NHL
Mellon Arena
Saddledome
Rexall Place
Consol Energy Center

ECHL
WesBanco Arena (Wheeling)

NCAA
Mercyhurst Ice Center (Mercyhurst)

SM-Liiga
Niiralan monttu (KalPa)
Barona Areena (Blues)

Czech Extraliga
Tipsport Arena (Sparta)

I'll probably add Citizens Business Bank Arena (Ontario Reign) there sometime this year if the lockout wipes out the full season. The Staples Center and Honda Center will be added eventually once the NHL returns...I had been planning on an Anaheim-Phoenix double-header to see the Penguins play in January, but I'm highly doubting that happens now.

Consol is the only legitimately 'not horrible' arena I've been too; though I'll always love Mellon for all of it's character and charm...but Consol is a far better arena in every other way imaginable.
