I think it's coaching. I think Luke Richardson is in his head. While I like that Luke has these guys playing on edge, he needs to teach them when to cross the line and when not to. So far, our losses this season have been directly related to the amount of stupid penalties we are taking. We had maybe one game so far home or away where i thought that we didn't really skate well. The rest, we had a chance to win.
Penalties have been out of control, however our PK units has done quite well..I don't mind Boro and his furious physical play, we need a player that takes matter's into his own and sends a message..his fists will help him get where he belongs in the near future, that and his leadership role that he takes on..
Wish we had more players w/ his heart and attitude..

Don't get me wrong, I like Boro's game too. I just don't like it when it costs us 2 pts in the standings.
If I had the choice to pick any of our prospects to succeed I'd choose Lehner. He has the potential and is on the track of becoming a game-changing franchise goaltender. Something this team has never had for more than a year.
Lehner is the only person on that top 5 who also is top 5 in saves. I have huge hopes for this guy, amazing athlete and prospect.

I've been a big fan of Lehner since his Greyhound days. I honestly think he's our number 1 prospect and he'll have the biggest impact out of all our prospect pool.

Oh, I have no doubt that he is. I've always rated him alongside Karlsson in terms of impact on the team long-term, longg time ago; just look at my username, lol. Him being a goalie takes a little longer though.

I agree w/what everyone is saying here about Lehner, he's having his best game consistently since he's turned pro, and that includes his Cup run..this will def be his last season in Bingo if he stays the course..
Part of me wishes Barry was still here, solid guy..

Nice! We welcome these trips down to the ol' barn.
From all accounts he's been stellar though. He's on the right path at least.
GoalieGuild thinks predicted before he even got called up to the A that when he got up he'd stick no problem. GoalieGuild is a much better source for goalie scouting than say, pronman...who doesn't beleive that any goalie prospect can be a starter.
