You would think not, but I know my players didn't receive credit for the extra rest of winning my series early. They would be closer to returning if all my series went 7 games.
Yeah. I am growing a bit concerned about that....I laughed off the late-season injuries last year because I wasn't going to make the playoffs anyway, but not having Eberle for the first 30+ games would be... frustrating.

You're in leagues that have advanced you said, is this something you noticed?
While we are waiting for the end of the playoffs, a few of us are thinking of starting an additional league. It would similarly blend playing and simming--basically, two playable windows (and one simulated window) a week, integrating the simulations through the rest of the year, rather than dropping them in a chunk in February / March, an approach that should keep more people invested throughout the season.
Anyway, this isn't a replacement for this league. I fully plan on reviving my , if we make it to next season, but if anyone is interested in (and committed to) joining a second league in the meantime, PM me.

Has the East started playing the conference finals yet?
Nope. We're dead in the water. Talked to Koopa the one day where he was on here, said he was good until 11, sent him to play at 8 and no response. Haven't talked since.

Then maybe look to replace him? This obviously isn't the first time this has happened this playoffs with him.
The longer it takes to finish the playoffs, the more people lose interest. We should have been done by now.

He was on xbox a few times and said he messaged you. I think you were playing Halo? Not sure. I was in a Chatzy with him when he was verifying your GT so he could message you. Said he didn't get a response.
It doesn't seem like he uses HF much, but I've probably played him 3 times in other leagues since the EC should have started. It's not like he isn't on.

My friends told me that he messaged me to play but it's a shared Xbox and they were playing. They responded saying such. I haven't heard from him since. It shouldn't be that we just happen to catch each other on Xbox at the same time to play.

That makes more sense.
Anyway--it might be a long-term problem that needs to be addressed. Most people in this league operate through HF--much more so than in other leagues.
I don't care if HC / you play the computer at this point, honestly. It just needs to get done. The playoffs should only have lasted 2 weeks top--4 days max per series. At each window, the remaining games / series were supposed to be simulated. The storm, and the need to replace inactive users, delayed things--but at this point, we're just waiting for HC and Koopa to find each other online.
Half the league has been inactive for nearly a month. The offseason is going to take at least 10 days or so to get through.
This was a really fun, active league. It died in the playoffs, basically. The solution, I think, is to do whatever we can to get done with the playoffs and start the next season. We've got a ton of activity checks to do, some vacant slots to fill, etc., but those problems are only going to get worse the longer that we wait.
We made a mistake by not allowing non-playoff teams to switch to vacant clubs at the start of the playoffs. That would have kept a much large group of core players active through the past month. What's done is done, but at this point, I think it's fair to say that this league is only a few days away from complete collapse.
