Hearing lots of good stuff about Essabr & Piasini (sp?)
Pisanu
He could be the right winger we desperately need. He is creative and knows how to find the striker, which is something Arnaud never did. Now, if we can get rid of Arnaud and Mapp + bring a left winger + use Nyassi as a sub, I'd be pretty happy.
Essabr seems to be a pretty smart player and I wouldn't mind bringing back to Canada, he seems to have chemistry with MDV. However, I don't know if it is worth it considering that he would be behind MDV and Wenger.
If we decide to play a 4-4-2, bringing Essabr as MDV's partner would be a good idea. Wenger still would see a lot of playing time, especially with the way the MLS calendar is built.

From what I've read on impactsoccer, Pisanu seems to be the standout amongst the tryout players.
We have 9 International Spots and 9 International players (8 if you exclude Montano):
Camara Corradi
Di Vaio
Ferrari Iapichino
Martins Montano
Nesta
Rivas
Out: Corradi, Montano Maybe out: Iapichino
In: Pisanu (Winger), Full-back to replace Iapichino, Central Midfielder/Attacking Midfielder or a Left Winger
I would also get
- a North American striker to fill Sebrango/Corradi's playing time. (Maybe at the draft?)
- a reserve defender to replace Thomas. (Ouimette if he's ready)

I'd sign Ilcu to replace sebrango/corradi. I'd look for a north american player though for LB position although it'd be very difficuly because it's the weakest position by far in MLS.
I think it is way to early to write off Iapichino. I think he has a lot of potential.
He was caught making 1 stupid play (a handball or foul) late in a game and never really saw much time after that ... I think he deserves a longer look before cutting him.

I like his offensive upside, but defensively he's having trouble.
Even if it wasn't a serious game, the Impact is getting some praise from Fiorentina news sites. I can't wait to see what this team can do with more cohesion from day one.
when you guys talk of a creative midfielder, can Felipe be that guy?
He already is, but the kind of midfielder that we lack, and that [I suppose] everyone is talking about, is more a play making CM, rather than an Attacking Midfielder (Which Felipe is).
To sort of portrait the kind of midfielder most of us [i suppose] are talking about, think about Michael Ballack, Xabi Alonso or Yaya Toure. I'm not trying to say we need to get Yaya Toure or Xabi Alonso, just want to make that clear. But we need someone that plays a similar type of role A guy that can chip in defensively and move forward with the ball
But nobody really knows IF it is necessary. If the new Impact manager comes from the outsidem we could see another formation next year. For all we know, that formation might only need 1 CM/CDM, and not 2 (Bernier would start, I suppose, and Warner would rotate/be the sub instead of both starting).
Then if he decides to keep 2 CM/CDM's, then I guess its up to the manager to decide what type of player he wants to add. Felipe could play CM(He can play all 3 Central positions) , and the manager could go get a playmaker. Nobody really knows.
I was about to say Joey should spit the money, outbid NYC and sign Kaka who's only 31. But on wikipedia it says he's an Attacking Midfielder... I would still go for it. Kaka is young and is a world class talent and played in Milan for 2 years.

Kaka played in Milan for 6 years, having scored 70 goals in 193 games. I watched pretty much every game he played being a huge Milan fan and I still believe the guy is a World Class player at the moment. Going to Madrid was a disaster for him. Getting Kaka would be insane

Lol don't count on that. I doubt Kaka leaves before his contract expires (I think it runs until 2015) unless another club can match his 200k a week wage.
Any of you guys playing fifa on pc? My left joystick just stopped working and I don't know why. Reinstalled, reseted everything to default. It just won't work, but I can do everything else. And my left joystick works to scrolls in the menu, so it has something to do in game?
