Lin is a talented guy twith starter potential. He was playing at a Top 10 PG level last year, albeit small sample sizes and whatnot. However, I'm more than pleased with who we have now, especially with two very efficient pick and roll finishers in STAT and Tyson. Also, speaking of efficient, who would've thought JR Smith would be playing at such a high level off the bench? I never really liked JR but it looks like Woody has been knocking some sense into him.

Yea I was one of the JR haters last year, I couldn't stand his hot or cold shooting and bad defense. I didn't want want him on the team this year, but he has been a pleasant surprise! If he can keep up his D and he can be real big for this team!
On ESPN they were just talking about D'Antoni, and Kobe and Nash were saying that the reason the defense has always been bad because of the personnel. Because you know, Chandler wasn't defensive player of the year or anything. And the Knicks don't have the lowest Opponent PPG this year right.....
Biggest win for this franchise in a long, long time. I cant remember the last time the Knicks took the best record in the EC into the best record in the WC and beat them.
And still no Amare and Shumpert.
They basically beat the best team in the WC with a poor shooting night from Melo.
What a ****ing THRILLING game. I never thought i'd be cheering so hard for Jason ****ing Kidd. I was yelling at JR to step up after a string of bricks and he did, too.
And Tyson's And 1 dunk...jesus christ. What a monster.
Great ****ing win. I don't even know what i'd do if we take out the Grizzlies tomorrow.
This team could be something special if they keep this up. Add in a sprinkling of Shump'n'Stat around mid-season....
What a great game last night! I almost turned the game off when they went down by 12 in the 4th, but I kept watching because this team is a team! Kid and Felton were in beast mode! Melo with 12 rebounds and unselfish play?!?!??!!

LET'S GO KNICKS!!!!!!!
Edit: Can we change the title of this thread? I don't know why it bothers me, but it's definitely not the off season any more lol...
I may just be going blind, but is Amar'e even with the team? I see Shump on the bench, and let's be honest he stands out with that hair , but I haven't spotted Amar'e...

I've been looking for him, and I hav't seen him yet with the team.... I was thinking the other day that it was kind of odd that he hasn't been with his team mates.

Love this team....and they are a team.
One of the biggest November wins in the history of the NBA.
The Carmelo trade doesn't look so bad now. Felton was re-acquired. The Russian barely plays. Wilson Chandler is coming off hip surgery. Labral tear in left hip. He had 2 ankle surgeries on his left ankle. Wear and tear. Everyone was happy Fields was kept out of the deal. Fields didn't nothing after the Anthony trade. Toronto overpaid for him. All of the Raptor fans are asking the Knick fans "what's wrong with this guy?". He isn't very good. Fields is hurt right now. Gallinari is the lone asset from that trade contributing for Denver. The Knicks owe them a 2014 #1 and Denver has the right to swap #1 picks with the NYK in 2016 or Denver gets the NYK 2nd rounder in 17. 20/20 hindsight. Walsh picked the option on Billups for $14.2M or they would have paid him $3.7M as a buyout. If they didn't pick up the option, the amnesty could have been used or could be used on Amare. No one knew the amnesty would have been in the NBA CBA in April 2011.
