I know this is kinda classless, but if there are still open spots can I get back in (would prefer getting the Isles back, but it doesn't matter). I will try to be more active this time

Welcome to the "Senators HF Boards". Most appealing team that is available is probably the LA Kings.
Some things you should know... Waivers are off, no AI trades, most trade talks are done with PM's(Private messages), we have a ton of discussion in this thread, and most importantly take this league serious. Treat it like your main league. We're not interested in inactive or check once every 2 weeks GM's.

Nevermind I found it! looking forwards to playing with you guys.
If you choose LA (which is a good choice - Doughty, Quick, Kopitar and new pick ups like Thornton and Bogosian IIRC), you can then look at the rosters to try to find a good team for your friend. It's hard to remember, but most of super-inactive teams got pretty screwed by free agency (Vancouver lost Edler, Canadiens lost Subban etc.) but other than that their rosters are pretty much in tact - because the GMs weren't even active enough to make dumb trades.
If you and your buddy join tonight, I think you'll be able to squeeze into the last couple days before July 1st. Any later and I think the league might move forward, so get in asap.
