A) Having Wickstrand in Frolunda is awesome. As a Sens fan, you just can't hate the Indians and what they've done for us
(minus King Henry....screw him
)
B) Matt Puempel just seems like the kind of kid who really "gets it". I was high on him going into his draft year, but thought he would be out of our reach. I was elated that his stock fell and we picked him up. He was really the only one of those 3 first rounders in 2011 that I was familiar with. Needless to say, I think the kid will make it. He has a real knack for finding the net. He musn't be rushed.

Noesen is killing it.
2G 2A midway through second.
5-5 is the score.

Culek played his first game of the year for Cape Breton.

He has had the exact same start as last year. It wasn't until the ~30th or so game until he took off.
I would imagine that he averaged around 2 Ppg for the last 30 games and playoffs.

And Wikstrand just scored his ninth of the season. Well, his seventh, but noted for his ninth.

I learned my lesson with a few of our prospects: if it seems too good to be true, it often is. However, it's really hard to not get excited about this guy.
Wish I could see the kid play, though.

He definitely improved a lot. Last year he had 3 points in 47 games. He's now at 15 in 21(?) games

I hear you. I'm not extremely excited about him, but he's obviously been putting up some great numbers. Should still be handled as a longshot to make the NHL club down the road, but producing in SEL-2, playing at the WJC and then in the SEL next year is a good curve.

coreypronman said he could be a 4th or a 5th in the NHL.
So, on this day I actually put stock into what pronman says.

Corey Pronman @coreypronman
Looks like a fringe 4/good 5. RT @dugnuts9: @coreypronman where do you project mikael vikstrand at the NHL level?

For those francophones out there, radio canada is going to air a special on Jean Gabriel Pageau coming up. It's either tonight or tomorrow at 18h.
