He's a little spark plug. His effort on the pp is great. Very impressed with him in this game!

Reuniting Khokhlachev with his old linemate Kerby Rychel isn't a terrible idea in the draft, five points tonight. Really heating up after a slow start.

Koko just named the game‘s hardest working player, by the commentators on Sportsnet.

He‘s been everywhere.

Great game, just forced another turnover (not that he had to do much, another poor play from The Holy One Mr. Rielly, tough night), Yakupov wasn't close to hitting the net. If Yakupov was being Yakupov it could be a really huge net for Khokhlachev.

Yakupov wasn't Yakupov this entire series.

And I'll add: Sure am glad that the B's are drafting so heavily out of the OHL. Tough not to be able to see any of our guys live out West, but the "O" played the Russian team harder than any other league this tournament. By far. WHL looked totally outmatched tonight.

Khokhlachev just won player of the game for Russia. Deserved.

Yep. OHL forwards were way below their standards but the WHL forwards were just horrible except Rattie. And the OHL defense just shut Russia down, barely allowed any scoring chances. Dumba, Pouliot and Rielly gave scoring chances like free candy. Only giving Subban half a game probably cost Canada the series. Subban most likely wins that game.

But he looks small compared to even his peers. He has a lot of strength to gain.
He needs to develop core strength like Brad Marchand. He's still quite young though. He doesn't turn 20 until September 2013. Love his attitude and skill though.

It's around the 1:00 mark here: http://www.subwaysuperseries.ca/vide...05c5f2bef60c6b

He showed good patience and hands.

Griffith had a goal and two assists. Off night for Subban, five goals on 30 shots.

To be fair, he had 30 shots, but yes a rare off night, might be getting a bit tired, getting the lions share of the workload.

Koko reminds me of a young David Krejci with a touch more speed. great Hockey sense, great vision, great hands. His tenacity and attitude is very impressive as well.

Thanks, they were showing 21 when I checked, must not have updated the third periods shots yet.

Two more goals for Söderberg today, he's now up to 16 goals (and 11 assists) in 22 games.

Former Bruins bust Joe Colborne got dropped in a fight by a 5'9 guy.

This is extraordinarily positive. Not at ALL what I was expecting from Cross.

He's obviously doing whatever he can to get a chance to salvage his place in this organization. Good to see.

Anothe rbig game from Svedberg, 36 saves on 37 shots. This kid looks like the real deal. Our goaltending depth is unreal.

The core of the team is young, and there are some decent prospects throughout the system, but the ability to trade a goalie down the line could be huge.
