I'm way happier than I should be about Bennett getting two goals.
Looking forward to the highlights.

Haha yea I was the same way. I just think the idea of a first round home grown prospect who might actually grow into the player we need is exciting for us. While the net was pretty wide open on both his goals the speed and release of his shot never really gave the goalie a chance. My reaction to his release was similar to that of some of Neals shots. Not to mention he keeps saying his wrist isnt even 100% yet.
Side note: Morrows speed is ridiculous

Some observations
Bennett
Both shots were quick and accurate. Called for the puck right after his cross ice pass
I also saw him fighting and competing along the boards for the puck. That will only get better with confidence and strength.
Dumoulin
Is a truck and you can see the physical game he is going to have at the next level
Uher and Farnham are tenacious, fast, and cause havoc
Veilleux is slow but happy to see him on the ice for now
Big Mac pulls the Asham and waits as the team comes off the ice
Zatkoff looked so poised and calm

Heading to the Lake Erie vs Grand Rapids game tomorrow. It'll be my second AHL game.

Bennett and Kuhnackl seemed to have some chemistry between them. Maybe in a few years we can slot Crosby in the middle of them

I really doubt Crosby is going to be down in WBS for this to happen

Both of them look better every game. I'd say Bennett's their best forward right now. I'm hoping Kuhnhackl stops being rotated in and out so much.

But what about all of the veterans that suck and aren't performing? What will they do? Surely you don't expect them to sit in the press box do you? They're veterans after all.

Uher looked really impressive on the forecheck against their D. They have an awesome group of D-men too.

Lake Erie is just a bit expensive. We paid $60 total for two upper-bowl corner seats.

I probably should watch more of these games but are they available to watch online anywhere often?

That was the first time all season that line had been used, but it was their 3rd
Tangradi-Smith-Ferriero
Thompson-Peters-Dupuis
Kuhnhackl-Holzapfel-Bennett
Farnham-Uher-Veilleux

Cool, Tangradi - Smith - Ferriero should be one of the more productive lines in the AHL if they can get it together. Is Thompson better on the LW or the RW?
