Santino and Ryder went over Kidd and Gabriel, can't say I'm surprised by it, but I'm a bit disappointed. A match between Rhodes Scholars and Kidd and Gabriel could have been quite good.

I'm expecting the Prime Time Players to win their match on Friday to advance.

Finals of the tournament I expect Rhodes Scholars vs. Sin Mysterio, with Rhodes Scholars going over to get the Tag Team title shot.

- WWE has announced via press release that WWE Main Event brought in 1,394,000 viewers for Ion TV. The show scored 422,000 viewers in the 18 - 49 demographic, the highest for Ion over the last year, and 444,000 in the male 25 - 54 demographic. The show was the #4 program for its timeslot among males 18 - 34 and males 18 - 49 and #5 among males 24 - 54.

Of those viewers, the show brought in 518,000 female viewers and 876,000 male viewers.
------------------------------------------------
I'm about to watch this on YouTube. Heard really good things and that it has a different feel from the other WWE shows.

^ It wasn't bad. I give them credit. I have no idea what is normally on tv for Wednesdays, but if there's nothing else I will tune in for Main Event, just in the off chance a decent match is put on.

ion network is surprisingly putting together some shows that people care about. I'll give them credit for that. That makes me believe this can last and be good.

But do we really need more wrestling on tv? 6 hours a week + a PPV. How many shows do you know make you invest 9 hours a week?

Waste of time.

The show was good up until the main event -- but then it got 4-minutes and I realized I'm watching WWE programming and I shouldn't have let them trick me.

CM Punk vs. Sheamus - ***1/4

I get the feeling they were also holding back because there seems to be a match down the road for these two, possibly at WrestleMania 29. Great TV match though. Commercials ruined the flow of the match, but otherwise, I liked it. Punk coming out on top was great as well. I want to see more from these two, and even though I brought up WrestleMania 29, I hope not, because I'd rather Punk/Rock headline (maybe with Cena in a triple threat).

Apparently Kofi cut an awesome promo last night. The main event for next week's show is The Miz vs Kofi Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship. I love it!

So Kofi Kingston is the new Intercontinental Champion. The most surprising think I learned is that Kingston is now a 4-time IC champ, I remember him holding the title, I just can't remember him holding it for three runs.

Also believe it's too soon for Kofi, coming off the break-up with R-Truth.

I'm surprised WWE announced it on .com. Now people don't have to tune in

They usually always announce title changes on WWE.com.

Remember Kurt Angle and the World Heavyweight Championship on Smackdown in 2006? It's used as a hook to bring viewers in to see said person win the Championship. If people want to see Kofi win the title that bad, they'll tune in.

I think the only reason I'd tune in would be simply to see the look on Miz's face or how differently he takes the trouble in paradise now

pretty shocked they would have a title change on a new 1 hour show like Main Event. Do they tape it the same night as Smackdown?

So Kingston vs. Miz went over 20 minutes long, pretty surprising.

Ziggler also beat Ryder. It appears like Ziggler will face The Ryback next week on Main Event.

The fans were ****ing clapping for Ziggler while he was in Ryback's bearhug. Just turn him face, ****.

Also, the piped in "Feed Me More" chants are laughable.

I think that show was in Providence, which usually brings in a mixed crowd of 20-something year old guys and kids. Doesn't surprise me at all that they were cheering on Dolph in the bear hug.

Strange how a couple months ago we all praised Dolph for being such a great heel, and how he's the perfect natural heel. Now some people, myself included, want to see him get a good push as a face. I think a face turn could elevate his character big time.

Was not sure where to put this but since it happened on Main Event, this it is where I shall put it.

So who replaces Cody at SS?
