I would think Husky fans would be pretty happy with a split, especially with Hanowski out

Gophers are being given this game on a silver platter. Two questionable majors on the Badgers. And yet, it's a tie game. Get your #@$! together, boys.

Gophers and Badgers ending in a tie. If that ain't like kissing your sibling, then I don't know what is.

I think we played well both games. I think had we gotten one by Saunders in thr 1st, we'd have won that game. I like what these guys are showing, and once we get Hano and Benik back, they could be quite lethal.

Haula is really good college hockey player, still not sure if it will translate to the next level but he is fun to watch.

From what I heard about the game, (namely the comments here about the majors) the Badgers pulling out a tie is pretty much equivalent to a blowout win.

I thought (and this is me watching the game live without the benefit of replay) the Barnes hit on Serratore was to the head and was called correctly. Can't fault the refs on that one although Serratore getting shaken up had to play a role in it.

The first one was surprising, though. Even seeing it on the other end of the ice it looked like interference and boarding but not a 5 minute checking from behind.

If you want to see the hits, they're up here. To say Eaves was pissed off at the refs for both is being kind.

Tyler Barnes is a Gopher killer. Almost literally. He was either trying to avoid him or put his shoulder and elbow into his head. And it didn't look like he was avoiding him.

The one on Haula was iffy. Definitely from behind and looked back from the broadcast angle, but you can't just call a penalty when people get hurt. You have to start calling it on every instance so people stop doing it all together.

Either way, Gophers failed. They tied.

It looks like Vermont has a pretty cool arena. Wouldn't mind watching a game there someday

Haula with the play of the game so far... a gophers stick was laying on the ice and Haula flipped it back to him while the dude was cruisin

Our last freshman goalie that did phenomenal ended up plateauing. Hoping for something else with him.

And 2-0. Michaelson from Boyd and Helgeson
