$399 for all AHL games? What were we paying for Center Ice, like $170ish?
I pay $19.99 for GCL each month. About 7 months of the season so around $140 I think.
You would've thought that when the lockout was announced and the first few weeks were cancelled they would've done a reduced deal for October, around $30 dollars for the month. Would've gotten a lot of viewing figures in for that price.
Cool, Tangradi - Smith - Ferriero should be one of the more productive lines in the AHL if they can get it together. Is Thompson better on the LW or the RW?
Smith has picked it up after a slow first few weeks. He's an elite AHL center, they expect him to start producing.
Tangradi started off with a league-leading first few weeks (in goals), but is on a little 4-game skid right now.
Ferriero has been flat out awful. I can see why San Jose let him go for free now. Has no finish, and is a busted prospect
And Thompson is better on the right W. His 'signature' shot is going top right corner (right handed shot)
Despres looks like hes taken at least 2 steps back in his developement flubbing clearing attemps and chasing around defensenly. And now hes going to the box too

Yeah, he's been the biggest disappointment of the season for me. He's had a really hard time with his puck movement this year, probably the worst regular d-men when it comes to effectively moving the puck out of a bad situation and that makes no sense considering his skills.
He's always taken a ton of poor penalties and it's getting a bit wearisome that he hasn't started cutting down on that aspect of his game.
If there somehow is a season this year, I can't see anyway Despres makes the team to start the season.
Dumoulin with a pp goal, might be tipped by Tangradi
Dumoulin looking good with the first pp after being on 2nd unit most of the year
3 for 3 on pp tonight
3-1
Officially goes to Tangradi
Man, as well as Tangradi is playing this year it's a shame the NHL season looks like it's going to be wiped out. Really missing an opportunity to solidify himself as a top-6 option with Sid or Geno.
Yeah. DUmoulin seems to be a really good allround guy. Ive watched 4 or so games and hes been rock solid defensively, moving the puck well, and tho hell probably never crack the No.1 PP in the NHL he is more than capable of playing the 2nd unit.
I think Dumoulin will be a full-time NHLer once the lockout ends. Kid is a stud at both ends. I think he is more likely to be on the everyday roster than Despres.
Oh yeah, did Tangradi get a natural hat trick today? He had 3 PPG

It does suck, but at least he's getting regular top line minutes and top PP time. That's something he'd never have in the NHL.

Yeah. As i stated earlier, Despres have been really bad this year - in both ends of the ice. Dont know whats up with him
