Basically, Kampfer took a shot and a guy hit him low from one side while another hit him high from the opposite side.

The refs need to just call this game over and disqualify Rockford before they seriously injure someone else. This is just unacceptable.

Good news.
The way you described the hit made me gringe, must've been an awful impact. And as Fel said, his injury history is substantial and I feel this might, sadly, make him think of other career options.
It's remarkable in a sad way that no one went out there and defended him. I was wondering that already when Granlund and especially Brodin got hit. They should've ganged up on Hall and given him a beating but no, nothing done about it.
Urgh.
