And Schultz got rewarded with an assist and a + as a result of the non call as well, he got hit really late and they let them play. Schultz is our most dangerous player 4 on 4 IMO.

IMO Hall seems to be the guy that's fighting it a bit, not sure how much of it is rust and how much of it is the fact that he does not have as high of a hockey IQ as the other 3 guys.

The whole team was pretty excited when they scored, that was nice to see, hopefully it's the beginning of some team bonding and everyone feels like they're rowing in the same direction.

Dat Schultz...

And Marincin! Anyone notice how his (M.M) defensive game has gone? Better? Worse? Ready to promote him alongside Schultz for a pairing 2013-2014? Wayy too early?

Marincin is probably better than Peckham and Potter already but promoting him is more about making him the best defenseman possible over the long term rather than helping the big club in the short term.

It's plausible that he'll be progressed enough to be able to step into the NHL in 2013-2014, especially, if he fills out a little.

He's a great player, but he is rather raw compared to RNH and Eberle IMO. Like them he needs to play to his strengths, and trying to thread the needle is not one of them. Yes he can, but not as consistently as the other kids.

You leave him in OKC for at least 2 full seasons IMO, Klefbom is probably ahead of him (let them sort that out) so it's not a good idea to break in so many rookie D at once at the NHL level IMO.

Sorry but the game last Friday he was terrible and he sat out the following night. We lost 4-0 and he had a tough night.

This is to be expected as he is young and it is his first year.

He has all of the tools but he may need more time.

Way too early to be pegging him in next year.

We do not want to rush him.

What a ridiculous comment. The The kid line had a 9 point night 2 games ago.

Thought Plante's hit/penalty tonight was a completely ridiculous call. Both players were going in for the puck, the Mil guy lost an edge (the ice was terrible tonight, especially in front of the zamboni doors where this happened) and went into the boards really awkwardly. It was the kind of play that happens several times a game, this one just came out really badly. Hope the guy is ok...silent arenas are always an awful thing. Players from both teams yelling for a doctor was pretty unpleasant also.

Also the entire team minus Danis was crap tonight.

Agreed. We can't probably bring Klefbom or Musil in for a bit next year if we're that desperate. We don't want to rush Marincin

Marincin needs to show Gernat the ropes at the AHL level next season. No need to rush him.
