Like seniors in NCAA, they are always more experienced than the rest, but Kamloops has a good blend of overagers and good young talent up front. I never thought of Dumba returning and you do prove a good point because Minnesota now has really good young talent on defense, so maybe they can wait another year for Dumba, but I can also see him make the team out of training camp in '13 as well.

To be honest I am not surprised by this. It seems kind of odd that Portland gets all the really good American players. BUT I swear I thought Jones wanted to be traded to Portland to play with his brother on the team.

Just heard Dean Millard on the Team1260. Sounds like Portland is on the hook for recruiting violations. One of which was apparently for a player who was on the roster last year. Someone got guaranteed four years of college paid for playing one game. Millard said five separate scouts have texted him telling him its about time. It is expected the punishment could consist of anything from a fine to a fine and suspension of the gm.

Heavy **** about to go down.

He also let Charles Inglis(one of our best leaders and our leading goal scorer go).

Brent Sutter you're the biggest idiot this planet has. It just adds on to the idiotic legacy of the Sutter's.

Good job Bud...

What he was kicked off? E: Sounds like he was sent home to wait for an upcoming trade.

The kid is a great talent, was physical, but had to be a cancer in the locker-room, so this also doesn't surprise if it's true.

@Liquor: Do you have that one junior/ncaa site which has all the news stories, trades, and reassignments?? I remember you posting it in this thread, but I might be going blind and can't find it.

Not sure what you mean.

I follow Gregg Drinnan's blog which is pretty damn good.

http://gdrinnan.blogspot.ca/

Coming Down the Pipe (Dean Millard and Guy Flaming) is also pretty good. They like their NCAA but they follow all the junior/prospect leagues.

Even though Inglis has talent, his personality seems a bit off and he could be a negative influence in the dressing room.

He is a total jerk off.

Earlier this year he was shooting pucks at his own players in warm up. Not playfully either but out of spite like he was trying to hurt them. A real piece of work that guy is. Good riddance.

Holy hell Leaf fans are just going crazy on the prospect board about Rielly and half of them spell his name wrong.

Marek had a small blockage isolated to a single vein in his left shoulder,” says Giants’ General Manager & Executive VP, Scott Bonner. “It was completely and rapidly dissolved and he is doing very well. Marek is under the excellent care of numerous specialists and he is recovering quickly. He will not be returning this season but he is expected to have a full recovery and future career as a hockey player.

Wow, that's sucha shame. He seamed like a good guy. He did alot of fundraisers and stuff. Sucha shame.

Wallin is different though. Just becuase we are having not the greatest year doesn't mean you fire the coach who was voted in the top 10 for best WHL coach last year and Rebs didn't even make the playoffs last year. This is just a selfish act by Sutter IMO. I didn't like the move as soon as I heard he was the GM and now the coach...

The way it's looking Dumba will be going soon, which will suck beyond belief.

I thought he had some serious talent, but he was never a "good" guy.

Also every playoff contender team will try and get Dumba.

He played very well. As did Murray.

Replace them with Lowe and Pouliot and the results speak for themselves.

The Rebels and Stupid Sutter(New nickname?) trim there roster with 2 more players going to there home towns. The Rebels and Sutter release Jan Bitter and Austin Ferguson. I thought something was happening with Bittner even though he was held pointless. As was Ferguson.

Well, let's try and make this re-build not as hard as it will be.

What Bittner really? The guy had decent talent to become a solid shutdown defenseman, really surprised by that move.

As am I. Hey, you from Red Deer or just a fan?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The top 2 teams in the dub are head to head. Kamloops VS. Portland. Portland's on a 12 game winning-streak and are down 5-4. It's been a back and forth affair:

1. KAM T. Bozon, (15) (C. Smith, J. Lipon), 0:52
1. POR T. Peters, (6) (T. Leier, T. Wotherspoon), 4:05
1. KAM B. Ranford, (10) (T. Bozon, C. Smith), 14:05 (PP)
1. KAM T. Hansen, (2) (T. Bozon, J. Lipon), 16:46
2. POR N. Petan, (11) (B. Leipsic), 8:04
2. POR B. Leipsic, (12) , 15:45
2. KAM J. Lipon, (18) (C. Smith, T. Bozon), 17:13
3. KAM C. Smith, (16) (J. Lipon, T. Hansen), 3:57
3. POR T. Rutkowski, (5) (B. Leipsic, T. Rattie), 5:21

This is a good game.
