Kinda depresses me that he's just been so dominant on this team ever since the 2nd half of the Maclean season and we can't watch him continue on the Devils because of the lockout.
Still intrigued by the suggestion on the main board of obtaining.the rights to tikhonov from.phx and reel him.back over here to play on kovys other wing. They seem to.be having a blast playing with one another across the pond in the "K". Not.that it.would translate over here but could.he possibly be what palmieri was with kovy and zajac down the stretch in 2010-2011? Big bodied guy which we know pete loves and Doesn't seem like a huge risk depending.on.the price especially if he doesn't fit into the yotes long term.plans. unfortunately i guess its all obsolete at this point though considering there may not even be a season.....

I'd really like to have him. Might be the next best thing to Tarasenko.
We've been screwed a lot with lockouts. Stevens not getting a proper last season. Marty losing a potential, and probable 40 win season the last time, losing a time with Kovy in his prime this season for however long this thing lasts. Not just pitying us. Every team has gone through it, and is going through it.
Anaheim, and Ottawa fans might have seen the last of Teemu, and Alfredsson like we did with number 4. This lockout almost has you feeling like it could go into next year too.
it really is disgusting and im not sure i can still be a fan if they lose this season
but it's not like the last lockout when the KHL was just forming and it looked obscure and desperate
this time the KHL is up to speed with technology and they know they have a new audience that wants to watch the best hockey in the world with the best players and i dont feel like im missing as much
hmm sure would be great to see elias and marty go to the khl, elias on SKA would be awesome

He was negotiating with Sparta Prague during the offseason, but decided to wait a little longer than the others. I`m sure he wouldn`t miss the opportunity to play in the KHL though.
As for Marty, I don`t really know. I want him to play, but where? Certainly not in Europe.

I'd love to pick up Tikhonov. Trade Tedenby for him.

Phoenix might even let him go for less than that, they seem ready to write him off as a bust because they don't expect him to come back from Russia. But if he was traded to a team that has Kovalchuk, he just might.

How about the rights of Zharkov for the rights of Tikhonov?
Another goal for Kovy with a Tarasenko assist in a 3-2 SKA win today. He's not still keeping up the ridiculous streak of a two point per game average, but he's a +17! Has Kovy at any time in the NHL ever been a +17?! I'm not even talking for a year, I'm talking at any point at all?
