Justin Schultz.

#1 Defenseman.

40+ pts most years (could hit 2/3 50 pts in his prime), very useful in all situations.

I guess it depends on what you think people have Granlund rated as, and where you'd put him.

As Wild fans we see him as a 60-80 point player in his prime and a 2nd line center/1st line center.

If we are saying reasonable projection; i.e. in between ceiling and floor, then:

Morgan Rielly:
- 2nd pairing defender
- 5 - 10 goals, 25 - 35 assists average
- 1st powerplay responsibilities.

Think a bigger and more talented John Micheal Liles

Since someone did Grigs I'll do Armia.

Armia 60-75 pt winger, Carter-lite.

He wasn't a reach, other teams had him rated just as highly, which is why they didn't trade down

No... He was a reach. He'll probably prove that he deserved to be picked there, but he was a reach at the time.

Really? I had him rated #13 before the draft and 7 spots in the 2012 at that point was nothing.

No he wasn't, Minnesota was going to take him(anaheim tried to trade down but couldn't because they knew minnesota would take him) so two NHL teams had him rated top 7 i'll take their opinions over draft magazines.

I really wanted Filip Forsberg so I was pretty shocked when they took some dude that very few people knew alot about but in the end these scouts seem to evaluate defensemen pretty well so I can't call them idiots

Yep, and who knows where he would've been ranked if the draft had happened a few months later. I don't think people realize how fluid those rankings are. They stop being relevant soon after the next season begins.

Vasilevskiy

Realistic potential is that he could be a starting goalie for most teams (slightly above average goalie) ... unrealistic potential to be Top 5 Goalie such as Lundqvist and Price.

Blues and Sens fans have fairly moderate expectations for Tarasenko and Silfverberg, respectively. IMO.

Yeah and never ever bet against Swedes. You just can't win.

IMO some of your comparables are off. Galchenyuk will never come close to being considered a defensive monster, he's by no means a liability but he likely won't be a PK guy under normal circumstances. I think he plays like Bobby Ryan personally.

Beaulieu is nowhere near as electric an offensive threat as Green, he's more of a guy who skates well with a good slapshot than a person who completely leads every rush and controls the offensive zone. I see him as more of a Ryan Whitney type of player.

TBH Galchenyuk plays more like hossa. But as a center and he has a better defensive...
I think he will have more success on offense than toews.

Also, I think that Beaulieu is compared to green because he has a big shot and is an offense first type of D-Man. The Green comparison is pretty good if you ask me.

I will go with Galchenyuk also but...

I will give him REALISTIC constant potential at 55-60 points first line center.

HM to Nathan Beaulieu #4 defensemen between 30-40 points

And Tinordi defensive defensemen major shot blocker and constant infirmary superstar

So... if those are realistic potential, what is the upside

the best ever from any sports in the universe?
