I still wanna know what all the ''PA, and league touched base today'' that we hear so often is all about. What do they touch base about? ''Hey Bill, Steve Fehr here. You alive today?' 'Yeah Bill we're alive' 'Alright we'll let the media know we've been in contact!''

I think it goes more like, "Hey, are you guys still being ass****s?", "Yep.", "Ok, I'll call you again tomorrow."

Well I applaud you for your uncanny ability to detect tone without hearing a voice.

All I allude to is the fact that it was the people of this area that were kind enough to support him with all his endeavors for the Lokomotiv tragedy... I was hoping someone like him would say "Oh crap, the state in which I am employed, have a home, kids go to school, have many fans has been hit hard by a natural disaster... let me say hi, give someone a Happy Meal, mention at the end of a newspaper article that I'm aware of the situation at least"

LOL Oliwa? Who the hell organized this, and asked him to take part. He was like probably our worst player ever until Peters, and Boulton came along the last few years!

Haha against all those guys? Who is the goaltender for these teams? Wasn't Bruce Driver a goalie after he retired or something in some mens league?

Also said Pete Deboer might be a coach. I know these guys are professionals, but if Deboer coaches Maclean, isn't that a little awkward?

Most Blues fans said they'd be happy with a

Matt D'Agostini for Henrik Tallinder swap, would you guys do it?

I would take anything that can contribute on a nightly basis for Tallinder.

He had 21g and 25a two years ago when he played alongside Backes. Last year, pushed down the depth chart but still managed 9g and 9a in 55 games. If Lou is sold on him, then D'Agostini for Tallinder is fair, if not, Lou might ask for a pick as well, given last years numbers.

He has a really hard, accurate shot. A lot of his goals are nice shots near the top of the circles. I watched almost all of them, he has a nice skillset, would look best alongside Elias and Henrique, in my opinion.

I would seriously consider it. D'Agostini can play in the top 6.

Shut up! Tallinder is our best D man!

Seriously though I would too. We need to let go of a D man anyway, Tallinder isn't gonna bring us really scoring, and that's what we need right now. As I've said countless times our D scoring is few, and far between. It's like 3 Dano's, and 3 Colin White's most nights.

A forward like D'Agostini would work well in the current offensive system we have than he would on the Blues. And Tallinder(Defensive defenseman with some offensive, and puck moving capabilities) would work better on their team, and Hitchcock's defensive system.

I'd do that, though I'd hope we could get a 3rd or 2nd or another prospect for a full year of Tallinder. He'd be fantastic on their second or third pairing and D'Agostini's value is low right now.

"And now, my wife and son!" was my favorite.

Good to see our Devils hockey for the season amounts to an alumni game. meh
