so, once SF closes up shop, do we replace them with Bellator?

I say leave it just UFC for 2013. There's enough fights.

Agreed x 2.

Bellator is without a doubt going to be the clear #2 organization, especially with the upcoming move to spike. They will still need at least another full year to make the stable of fighters worth while for our purposes.

At this time I find the majority of their events have 2 fights that would be useful for pick'em purposes.

Thanks! Although I'm not perfect, I forgot to paste the standings for the event before I did them but they should be updated

F me. I forgot/didn't realize that only picking the main card fights meant you got all losses for the fights you didn't pick. 7 losses for TUF 16, crap!

Hmm just noted that too.. at least I know why I went 1-10.. or I sure as hell hope I didn't pick the undercards going 1-10.

That's been what we've been doing all year. The percentage standings were a ***** to calculate. If someone else wants to do them, go for it. But with all the fights being available to watch I figure this is OK.

So, we need a tiebreaker for next year. I thought maybe winning % if it's different and then number of event wins (for the record, I had 7, Captain_Cunney had 4). But I didn't want to arbitrarily pick that so I could win

I only picked 5 or 6 of the fights for 155 ... how did I get 3-9? Do you automatically call the rest losses?

I do a pool at work and we put 1, 2 or 3 points on each fight (ie: Velasquez x3, Miller x2, Boetsch x3, Okami x1, Leben x1 for a total of 6-4). Significantly increases the "number of points" in play and tends to cut down on both ties and the impact of lucky guessing. If you're confident about a matchup you put double or triple points on it for more credit, and it punishes you less for not knowing a couple of undercard fighters and randomly picking them wrong.

If I hadn't missed a couple of events, I would've smoked both of you. I'll be 100% focused this season so you better watch out.

Yeah if a fight's not picked, it's a loss.
