Anything is possible but it's more likely that he will try latching on with another team on a two way deal like Reese did. I haven't seen anything out of Reese that going to make him jump over our prospect either. Sometimes when you've been with one organization for so long you begin to see the writing on the wall. Time to move on and see if you fit somewhere else.

With Dumoulin being 1st call-up when injuries strike.
**** Ben Lovejoy, we should put him on waivers.

We will probably trade him for like a 4th round pick or something like that.

That will probably be the line once Dupuis leaves via free agency or when TK leaves/gets traded and Dupuis takes his spot.

I actually really can't wait for the Tangradi-Crosby-Bennett line. Bennett is a good playmaker with a hard shot and good hands, Tangradi has finally found his nose for the net and is a lot faster, and Crosby is Crosby. We are going to be seeing a lot of Tangradi goals from Crosby and Bennett. I also think that Bennett will be taking Sully's old spot on the PP next year. He just needs to get a hard slap shot to play there.

From what I remember his slap shot isn't overpowering but he get's it off quick and is very accurate.

Does Bennet remind anyone else of Morozov?

He kind of has that gangly stride, smarts, poise and hands like Morozov. I think they have the same flaw too in that they're a little light on the puck. IMO thats the only thing that kept Morozov from being a star.

Not a bad comparison. Hopefully Bennett can be as to Lundqvist as Morozov was to Brodeur.

I think Morozov also dealt with terrible timing more than anything when it came to his NHL play not meeting expectations. He took about 5 full years to finally start playing well, then killed it playing with Mario the next year before getting hurt. The following year the Pens were so awful but the last 25 games or so, playing with very little support, Morozov was easily the best forward on the team.

Then the lockout came and pretty much ended his Pens career right when it was taking off. Every time it looked like he was going to take the next step, something happened. I'd be more than happy if Bennett could end up a similar player as Morozov in his last couple years on the team.

Typing that out, I see some Tangradi comparisons production-wise in that Morozov took a long while to start playing well and then was derailed by injuries the one year and the lockout the next. I want a a NHL season so bad because Tangradi looks primed to produce and missing this season would be a big setback for him considering the open spot on the top-6 is just there to be had.

Bennett plays a very similar style to Morozov. The only difference is that Bennett will get the opportunity to play along a star, while Morozov never got to. Bennett has Crosby and/or Malkin, while Morozov only got 25 games along Kovalev and Lemieux before that got dismantled. His best season was 03-04, when he had 50 points, and that was the season that Lemieux played like 10 games. Then he went to the RSL/KHL and started tearing it apart. The quote I heard was "Morozov is considered one of the best hockey players in the world currently not playing in the National Hockey League."

It seems like they have every game up except the WBS-Hershey game. They never seem to play the games between Hershey and WBS.

Yeah that's what I did too. Is the AHL Live feed always this choppy? What a ripoff.

I have a feeling that he could get shipped out if he doesn't step it up. He was involved in rumors at the draft, and now that the Pens have good D prospects out the a**, he could be the 1st one to be shopped. Then again, it's only his 2nd pro season, maybe a sophomore slump?

Bennett's confidence is shooting through the roof. Which also can lead to bad things when he tries to do too much like turning the puck over as I was typing this lol.

he was?

Also, sounds like Bennett was a little careless which led to a penalty shot. They scored.
