1. STAN doesn't know squat about goaltending.
2. Stan doesn't know sqat about drafting goalies--WHEN and WHO --else we'd have solutions in the AHL pipeline by now..
3. FIRE the Roscford goalie coach -and if it is the same or not as the Hawks goalie coach otprospects system goalie coach-fire that guy too!
4. TAke TONY O out of those marketing commercials and put him to work actually teaching our guys how to stop pucks..
5. Do not blame our Rockford team defense ---we are not getting barraged with that many shots--BUT usually outshoot oppnents and lOSE because our goalies are sieves ..

Hutton deserved to be brought back, much like Crawford did after 2011. It's a sad that he's also taken the same route of bombing that Crawford did.
Alec Richards in the AHL is a joke, but Simpson is doing equally bad in the ECHL.
Carruth is of course destroying 16-20 year olds in the Dub, but it's unclear if that would happen in the pros.
Our system having crappy goalies in the pros is no surprise. Our organizational depth in goal for the past few years was at its deepest when we had Niemi, Huet, and Crawford, and honestly that list is a pretty sorry excuse for depth to begin with.
Yeah, great post, the ****ing guy signed Emery TWICE, told me all I needed to know. This is just more of the same. Carruth should be in the AHL. I was pissed at that one. It's just a huge ****ing mess. I agree with the coaching though, enough of Waite, let's bring back Tretiak, he got the most out of the guys we had and that's even only working part time.
Thats what happens when you draft goalies in the late rounds. But to blame it all on Bowman isn't completely right. Tallon did **** all to help our goaltending prospects. We should have a couple young goalies around 23-24 right now ready to break in. Bowman hasn't done any better, but at least in a few years hopefully one of Simpson or Carruth are ready. Tallon did NOTHING about it.

Beyond that he probably thought Crawford was the guy of the future. Doesn't look like that's panning out at this point - but to be fair, it seemed worthy of trying for a good while.
Considering Subban wasn't even the best goalie of his draft ,, Wasting a 1st rounder on him would have been mistake

...in any event, as pointed out elsewhere, the one's who pan out the best aren't necessarily the ones first chosen. so who knows
i'm glad we got teuvo - after him, i would have taken maatta - after him, i would have taken subban or vasilevski. we're lucky we got a good forward in a draft that was bad for forwards.

Yeah, not only should it have been Hutton but even the useless sack of crap Richards would matched that or done better.
Haven't seen much of Hutton so I won't comment. Alec Richards is horribad, I've been saying it for the past 3 years. Seriously, I don't know what the hell he has on Hawks brass, but he's a stiff through and through.
