Who's better in this game, Havlat or Bobby Ryan?

It's Speed(Havlat) VS. Checking(Ryan). It depends if you like pure offence w/speed or a good player with some defencesive instincts and lays the body. I'd personally take Havlat over Ryan becuase he's a speedster!

I've used both, Ryan more extensively.

Ryan has a great wrister and slap shot. He can snipe corners. He's tough to knock off the puck along the walls or particularly when he's going to the net. He can be poke checked though and because he doesn't have great speed he's best when you are set up and going a little slower in the offensive zone. I was frustrated by how many times he got caught by back checkers after receiving a breakout pass up the wing.

Havlat was really fast and really smooth. I'd say he would classify as a speedster like Grabner but he carries the puck more naturally with smoother dekes and better release.

Basically if you already have speed to carry the zone and you like to slow it down once your there, or if you need a power play beast pick Ryan. If you want a far better breakaway and rush threat choose Havlat. Neither were of particular note in the defensive zone but Ryan was at least pretty good pressuring outlets on the walls.

Does anyone have a C-LW they'd swap for a C-RW or LD-RD?

Trading my SOTW Mueller for JJ and like 10k value in pucks or players or whatever, just send me a pm.
E: How much are you asking for your C-RW?

Thanks guys! I went with Havlat for now as I don't have many speedy guys and it looks like Havlat can bring that. He'll go well with Marleau and Spezza

I'm hoping to flip it for a C-LW and the lowest of them on the market is 7k bin so ill have to say 7k - basically if you get a C-LW ill swap.

I have him and he's very good. Tenacious forechecker, real good shot, picks up lots of rebounds.

Sounds like exactly what I need for my 2nd line. Right now its J. Staal-Toews-Nash and Staals been a weak link for me so far.

Yeah the center switches are worth more than the LD-RDs which go routinely at 4-5k bin. One of the C-LWs just got binned at 7k. They are all getable on auction in the early morning for much less but their price shoots up during the day.

Yeah that'd be a sick line. I have my first line as Parise-SOTW Zetterberg-Ryan and they work well with eachother. Would like to find a sniper to replace Ryan, so I can have 99 chemistry, but there's nobody out there other than Kovalchuk that I can think of who I would put there, because I like righties on the right side, and am particular about the players I have on my team, I have to actually like them in real life in order for me to put them on my team. Not that 95 chemistry is bad, it's just I want 99, lol. But I love Ryan, so I don't know.

Not many offers on my players but was offered from the same guy on my Karlsson. His last offer was Getzlaf and Gagne(Simone not Sam). It's a filthy offer but Karlsson's my rock on Defence. And people are stubbarnly putting up Karlsson at $60K...

Haha I got my EK card for 49K... he's a beast in HUT. Got him on a pairing with Kronwall - the Super-Swede Pairing!

Also I'm looking for a good LD to play alongside Myers on my second pairing. Suggestions?

a thing that happened to me in HUT today:

outshot a guy 29 - 8. i lost 5-2.

my goalies are suddenly completely incapable of making saves. a backhand from the blue line went in. a dump in from center ice went in. a month ago i would have gotten pissed but at this point i just shake my head and think of how much money i have wasted on a game that was apparently programmed by autistic monkeys.
