Josefson now has 6g in 13 games and Larsson has 2g and 5a in 13 games. Some pretty nice stats.

Henrique got his first assist tonight and Larsson and Zajac have as many goals as Butler.

Third goal I's say the whole line got caught with the hand in the cookie jar, and that might be the only one where I would consider Tedenby at fault for poor defensive coverage.

At least that's how I saw it. I'm not sure what went so wrong at the last goal but that was really bad.
As I said before, the second goal against Kinkaid was probably deflected by a Devil.

Looks like I missed an excellent game. I was afraid it was gonna be another shootout loss. We're finally scoring a lot of goals, and finally looking like a team that has the amount of NHL caliber players that we actually have.

Glad to see they killed off that 6 on 3 to end the game.

Wow, Albany went 8 for 8 on the PK. Nice change of pace!

Did Tedenby play tonight? How has Pesonen looked since he tore up preseason?

Looks like Larsson's goal was a PP goal. That's nice they're scoring on the PP cause that 0 for 33 stretch was embarrassing. I hope it's not just St John's having a bad PK. I'm not exactly sure where their PK ranks.

Really wish Matt Anderson would get a shot with the big team. I know he's older but I wonder why he never got a cup of coffee up here.

Is it safe to say Frazee is outplaying Kinkaid at this point?

Yeah, but I don't think either have been bad at all. Frazee leads in save percentage and GAA though. Kinkaid has been in net for some disasterous games including a couple blowouts. I have to say Frazee has impressed me though, and seems to be playing like he's making a statement that he still belongs. He gave up 4 goals on 30-32 shots or so against Norfolk in that 5-4 shootout loss last Monday, He was very good though, and stopped a point blank chance right before OT ended. Too bad we can't win a damn shootout.

Pesonen started very well, but now he seems to have settled into a nice gritty two-way game on the third line.

Which is basically what was expected of him, so I'm happy with that.

I don't think so. I think they are both playing well and they're not the reason that the team was not winning. Kinkaid has played 5 away games and 2 home games. Frazee has played 5 home games and 1 away game. Away games are harder to play and win than a home game. The team has scored 11 goals in the 7 games that Kinkaid has played (1.57 gpg) and 19 goals in 6 games that Frazee has played (3.17 gpg). I think both goalies are playing well because they have a goalie coach this year.

Kinkaid is interesting...some of the goals he allows you really have to scratch your head about...but then he pulls off 3-5 saves in a row he had no business making.

He has some offensive upside. At the most, he will be a guy like Zubrus, but he's likely just going to be like Bernier. He'll be an ideal fourth liner that can score and move up when needed, then again, there's a chance he's just a career AHLer.

Well, from what I've seen this year, he's been solid. He hasn't given up many softees and he has made some unreal saves. Frazee's been the same way. In the first game against St. Johns, the only bad goal was the second and I believe the Devils guy deflected it. The other two were cross-crease passes that he actually came over very well on but the shooter placed it perfectly. On the third one, it was a pass from the top of the left circle to the middle of the right circle and he covered most of the net, just the shooter picked a spot just barely out of his reach.

Kinkaid has more losses than wins, but I'd say they are playing equally as well. If they were going into the playoffs and had to ride one goalie, I'd go with Frazee right now, but I think they can both get it done.
