One of my biggest memories of those pre-lockout teams was that game, and Spezza skating out as 1st star to EMF's You're Unbelievable.

****ing epic.

Redden can't play because he has a NHL deal so he would be taking a 6.5 million dollar gamble to play in the AHL this year. if and when a deal gets signed, he will be back playing in the AHL.

There's obvious choices to be made for Heatley (dominance from 05-07) and Corvo (Game 2 OT in 2007 ECF), but I love this moment

Not to derail, but I can't help but wonder if he'll be back in the NHL once his deal expires after 2013-14. Not sure if he has it in him, but I'm rooting for the guy.

We should sign him. I think his leaving the NHL had more to do with being over payed than not good enough. And even if he isn't good enough to play a 6/7th defenceman role for us, we can play him 6 games so he can hit 1000 and retire a Senator.

Yeah, but Turris was always skinny. Redden usually looked pretty healthy and solid when he played here.
