Yeah. It's actually a good watch if you can DVR it and skip through the myriad amount of commercials.
Last Saturday's was just awful, though.

I dunno if you can only get these in NY, but my favorite NY breweries :
Brooklyn
Ommegang
F.X. Matt (Saranac / Flying Bison)
EBC
There a lots of other good ones, but these guys make good stuff, no matter what your taste.

This whole "Black Thursday" thing is obnoxious. Just such a gross display of consumerism. I hope it backfires on the businesses participating.

I feel terrible for the people forced to work because of this crap who can't spend time with their families because some managers thought they could squeeze an extra 2% in sales out.

It's awful. Apparently some Wal Mart employees are staging a walkout. I hope they go for it.

Clock needs costume ideas for a costume party for NYE. It has to be a musician.
I'm going as Alanis Morissette .

Me too. Wal-Mart employees are treated especially crappy in the retail space, and that's saying something.
Sad thing is they'll probably just get canned if they do.

They might, and probably would, but the PR would be wonderful.

Indeed it would be, although the attention span of the media covering it would probably last about 36 hours, at best.
Plus they'd probably only report it after sales numbers.

Every time I think of Alanis, two things come to mind.
1) she was God in Dogma
2) Kevin from the Office. "YOU YOU YOU YOU YOU YOU YOU YOU OUGHTA KNOW"

One of my wife's college housemates used to do a wonderfully comic version of You Oughta Know as sung by Mary Poppins/Julie Andrews. It's what always flashes through my head whenever someone mentions Alanis.

Love both of those references.
I loved Alanis in the 90's. She was so angry about Joey Gladstone. "Cut.It.Out."
Plus, I dig Alanis karaoke.
