Gotta give the vet Campbell the edge over the inexperienced Kapernick in the QB battle tonight. Gonna come down to turnovers. Bears can't win when they lose the turnover battle like they did last week.

Expecting an all around ugly offensive game on both sides. Going to be won by the defense, which is the only part of the equation that makes me feel hopeful for our chances.

We need to recover a fumble or two at the least. Kaepernack recklessly holds the ball down by his hip a lot of the time.

Smith being out does wonders for the Bears' chances with Campbell under center.

Tonight's game is going to end in a 12-9 final or some wacky score. Both defenses are already stout, proven, and amazing, so even if Smith or Cutler were in there, though neither have been overly impressive, they would have more success than Campbell or Kaepernick will but not convincingly. The only reason the 49ers are favored is because they are at home. This game can go either way. There is no clear favorite. It probably comes down to which one of Forte and Gore performs the best throughout the game.

There's no reason why we can't get a few takeaways from the rook tonight. I really like our chances with Smith out.

By the way, I love taking shots at Matt Ryan. He and the Falcons organization are so overrated. He is not a bad guy, but that 9-1 record is the flukiest ten-game stretch I have ever seen. They won't win a playoff game. Neither will New England if they have a bye.

Mark it down.

Niners fans appear to believe that Crabtree is better than Marshall

Thats insane. He has 219 career receptions in his career, Marshall has 248 in his last 25 games (last year and 9 games this year).

If he was that good, they'd be throwing to him more. Marshall has nearly double as many targets. Crabtree needs to be open to come down with it. And on top of that, I'd say the Bears have better receivers behind Marshall than the 49ers have behind Crabtree (with Jeffrey in), so they should be throwing to Crabtree as much as the Bears throw to Marshall. They don't want to end up getting picked when he can't fight off the DB though so they won't.

And in addition to that gem, Kaepernick is labeled better than Vick and Newton.

That's not quite as bad as Crabtree > Marshall, though. Some fans, I tell you.

Marshall is far better than Crabtree. I love when fans (95% of them anyways) think their teams/players are better than they really are. We all do it sometimes, but really? Crabtree better than a probowler that has been outstanding every year?

Sounds like 49ers fans are letting this new-found success get to their heads.

I'd take him over Vick, the guy isn't even a QB (what's his QB rating this year, 45?) but yeah, it's still still a joke to call him better than anyone else who is starting.

Yeah, I also hate when your fanhood is questioned by those meatballs when you are critical of the weak spots of the team. It is what it is, you don't have to lie to yourself just because you are a fan.

Double this. Sounds like one of those guys that couldn't get into a party and goes on some rant about how parties aren't fun anyways.
