Lindros is probably one of the very few players to have ever touched the ice that would make me consider rooting for a different team.

He once was a beast but now he's finished and he's too much of a risk.There is always the argument that he may not sign for a lot (1-1.5) but even then i don't think that it would be a good idea.Plus , he is hated in Quebec for not wanting to play for the Nordiques when he was drafted and with all the pressure in Montreal it could come back to haunt him (IE : Getting booed ala Brisbois except even worse if he don't perform well).

As for Lindros, he has skill, but hes far too injury prone. Howver, at 600K hes worth a shot. I wouldn't do it though, because we do have guys in the farm that could play a role on the team or fill a roster spot.

Well Lindros may not be most Quebecer's cup of tea. But the Man is still a great hockey player with the skills that we need. Center with size and strength, and top line skills.

Yeah he is injury prone, yeah he would not be accepted by most Montreal fans(mostly quebecer's).

Its a shame that people still give this guy a hard time. He tries his best. When he was young he had overbearing parents that made his decisions for him. (yeah thats his fault)

So his parents wanted him to be drafted by a team with a large market. Not a small market team that may not even stay and get moved somewhere only god knows.

Anyway he would definatly help this team on the ice, but not off it..
