Only Monahan and Galchenyuk are younger than Conner Brown of the 13 players ahead of him in the OHL standings.

Yeah those are inflated stats that i'm sure his linemates have something to do with

And that would apply to him only rather than other prospects for what reason(s) exactly?
I'm waiting with bated breath...

I'd rather have Finn over Percy.

None, which is why Brown isnt held in high regard yet players like McKegg and Rielly are considering they had absolutely no one to play with.

Connor and Matt Finn are best buds and have been playing together coached by Connors dad since they were 3. I don't know too much about the Finns but the Browns are one heck of a family.

Watching Finn play I have to agree that he was a steal of a pick for Toronto in the second round.

Quick glance at guys that were picked instead of Finn in the 2nd rd.
Dansk stats wise, 3.70 GA - .905 save%
Collberg 0 goals 2 assists in 16 games
Guys I would have considered:
Di Giuseppe 1 goal 11 games
Aberg No stats
Kerdiles No stats

Steal of the 2012 draft in my opinion is.... Seth Griffith 5th round-131st overall to boston.

Finn has better tools than Percy. Percy is overhyped like Bozak is.

Not really. Agreed Finn has more offensive tools but Percy has something that many in this game lacks, that just the sense or IQ of what goes on in the ice that he will make sure he is the right spot at the right time. It was one of the reasons he was able to adjust to the AHL game so easily.

Tough to say, I wanted us to take him, also...but his numbers were great last year and was still passed over until the 5th round.

How is Bozak overhyped?
Everyone seems to think he is an AHL player regardless of the numbers he puts up.
Also, Percy isn't overhyped moreso than our other prospects... All prospects are a bit hyped, but Percy Is definitely a solid one who deserves some hype

Agreed. There is something to be said for players who arent flashy, but are very reliable and make good decisions both offensively and defensively. Ryan Suter is probably the best example of this in the NHL.

Doubt Percy ever makes it as a first pairing dman. 2nd pairing ceiling, likely a 2nd/3rd pairing tweener. That's just me though.
