bears offense is a joke and people who think this would be significantly better with cutler need to watch the packers and first half of the Texans game again

And what would you like the Bears to do QB wise going forward?

I don't think the offense would have looked significantly better with Cutler in this game. The defense couldn't stop anything in the first half and the 49ers would have been teeing off on Cutler just like they did on Campbell.

that post wasn't intended add a knock on cutler. while i don't think he's very good, the offense is **** regardless. there's only a few qbs in the league that could do anything with this comedy of errors.

Or they could watch games Cutler has picked apart teams thru last few years when he has some protection
Cutler is not the problem as you make him out to be ,, Infact Forte is getting exposed without Cutler
Cutler manages to make it work most of the time behind this horrid OL and with horrid coaching/WR's/TE's

I think he was trying to say that only an elite QB (Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Manning) could possibly overcome this poor of OL play. Cutler is good, but not an elite QB.

I agree, he is not elite. I don't think many people here think he is, but he is a very good QB and there isn't a realistic option out there that we could bring in that would be better than he is.

I guess we just disagree on Cutler in general, as usual. Although no point in going any further, because we've all beaten that argument to death. If Cutler suited up I think this game would have been much closer. Not saying we win, but I don't think we get blown the **** out like we just did.

Brady and Manning would never survive behind this line with there lack of mobility
Neither one has ever taken the abuse Cutler has been taking these last few years
