Now we just hope Carlyle feels the same way, and that if its earned, Kadri and Frattin play on the Leafs and Connolly/Lombardi end up in the press box or the minors.

Not every NHL playing is great, and you don't have to be great to be a NHL player.
Who's saying he'll be great? I called him Tim Connolly.

Skill wise, he is similar to Connolly. However I think we can both agree that Kadri has a more feisty game. Throws the odd hit, stirs it up etc. If Kadri becomes Connolly with more energy i'd be ecstatic. Intensity is the main thing holding Connolly back.

mikebel111 in post #43. you don't challenge him on his assertion. yet when someone says he'll bust, you're all over it. why?

Oh I'm sorry, I don't recall saying that someone saying he'll be great wasn't a misinformed opinion. You're automatically assigning me to one extreme because I spoke out against the other, and in doing so creating a false dichotomy, where you apparently have to be pro-legend-Kadri or pro-bust-Kadri, for some weird reason. Why?

Good to hear and see he's getting the recognition. He just needs to work for it consistently now. He definitely has to do the off-ice things and if he can do that aside from the skill game he possess we are good. We, as leaf fans, should be happy.

Very happy with Kadri since the benching, good call on Eakins part. Sometimes a guy just needs to step back for a minute to get some perspective on things. Hope Naz can keep impressing.

Anyone here want to have a little fun in the trade proposal forum? See what offers we get for an AHL player of the week. Lol

But I thought we threw him under the bus?

Perhaps we should hold more players accountable instead of blind adoration?

Consistency is overrated. Every single elite player in the league has ups and downs when it comes to their production. As long as the effort is there, the points will come eventually. From what I hear/read, even during his "slow start", he was playing well for the most part.

You need to look no further than our very own Grabovski. The guy is a notoriously slow starter, and has the tendency to disappear when the going gets tough, yet most around here were ready to crown him as our MVP one year ago.

How did our top 6 do this season?

Kadri's ready for the big leagues, IMO.

His offense isn't the problem.

great charts man, great job, did you make them, or find them
I would say he is ready for most part, but I disagree on the part that consistency is overrated, and I am a huge fan of kadri
