Atomic Elk since 2002!
I've taken it less seriously the past few years, now I train wing attacks and basically ignore playing defense.

This week's Revolution was really good. Can't wait for next week's fall finale.

No it wasn't. So sick of that show being 56 minutes of boring and 4 minutes of "hey we are going to tease the audience into something is happening!"

So many other shows have made that mistake and they're firmly in the trap.

After next week it's gone until March. I won't miss it.

It will be interesting to see if/how my wife responds to the email I just sent....

And it was amazing that this was today's prayer given the email I was planning on sending....

And this song speaks to me today:

Awesome! I played 2002-2009, and they just started it up again in October.

I trained scoring before and at one point had the top central attack in the U.S. Had every non forward on the pitch repositioned offensively, lol.

Now I'm CriminallyVu1gar and I train defending because I've never done it before.

Knock knock.
Who's there?
Stan.
Stan who?
Stan cries as he realizes his grandmother's Alzheimers has gotten so bad that she doesn't recognize him.

Yeah, Lost really soured me on that kind of show. If I even think a show is doing that even once, I'm done with it.

Same. Lost was the template for disappointing shows. If the series is based on some sort of "OMG WHAT IS GOING ON?" scenario, meh, unless the reviews are outstanding.

Hell, "How I Met Your Mother" is like that.

I love the idea of using a multiple-seasonTV show as a vehicle to basically write one huge story, but the networks have abused those types of shows by forcing extra seasons of crap and muddying up the flow of the storyline.

Thank god Battlestar dodged that.

Holiday Plans:

Thursday: Dinner at my parents' house on Thursday. Brother in law is a chef and goes to some jacked up place to get turkeys, so it's always delicious. Drive home. Begin assembling our three fake trees.

Friday: CHRISTMASPLOSION. No shopping except, perhaps, online. Egg / bacon / pancake breakfast. Coffee (with Baileys). Spike, or whoever is playing James Bond, gets turned on occasionally (potential substitution: the HD copies we have on our XBMC box). In between that, Christmas music is played. Crock potted chicken wing soup to be served throughout. Decorations of all trees and of the outside lights occurs - Christmas mode is engaged. Hot chocolate served all day (with Baileys). Some type of Rock Band is bound to be played (with Baileys). A delicious dinner will be served. Best day ever.

Saturday: Relax...

Sunday: Visit PK's good folks.

Monday: Niagara Falls Aquarium. Cyber Monday shopping, maybe.

I believe in the sanctity of no Christmas before Thanksgiving. But I put lights up outside this past weekend because it was wonderful outside and who knows how it'll be going forward. They go on for the first time Friday, though.

Make sure you don't unplug it while it runs it's day one patch. My friend did that because he thought it locked up, and bricked it. Apparently that's happening a fair amount.

Sucked, because I wanted to try it.
