Been to nearly every OHL barn, minus Eerie, Plymouth, Saginaw.

Would love to go to more in the States.
Eternal: Take it from someone who's been to two of the OHL arenas you haven't gotten to yet...hold off on Erie for another season. The renovations aren't fully done, but what HAS been done is impressive. Concourses are wider and the concessions have improved a bit, in terms of diversity of product. As for Plymouth...would you like to see a game in a barn that could pass for a WalMart and be just as appealing?

Didn't think so.

NHL:

MSG (Rangers)
Prudential Center (Devils)
Continental Airlines Arena (Devils)
Nassau Coliseum (Islanders)

NCAA:

Houston Field House (Rensselaer)
Messa Rink (Union)

Despite being a military-hangar-turned-hockey-rink, I love the HFH due to the atmosphere. I would kill for NHL games to have even half the energy in that place (playoffs are more comparable). And this is coming from a small college in upstate NY, I'm sure BC/BU/Wisconsin/Minnesota/etc. have even better atmospheres.

Good question that really made me think and go back.

NHL:
Xcel Energy Center - Minnesota Wild/bunch of college hockey
Met Center - Minnesota North Stars
Target Center - neutral site (Winnipeg-Ottawa)
Verizon Center - Washington Capitals
Wells Fargo Center - Philadelphia Flyers
United Center - Chicago Blackhawks

IHL:
Thomas & Mack Center - Las Vegas Thunder
St. Paul Civic Center - Minnesota Moose

College:
(Old) Mariucci Arena - Minnesota Gophers
Mariucci Arena - Minnesota Gophers
National Hockey Center - St. Cloud State Huskies
Verizon Wireless Center - Minnesota State-Mankato Mavericks
DECC - Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs
(Old) Ralph Englestad Arena - North Dakota Fighting Sioux
Ralph Englestad Arena - North Dakota Fighting Sioux
Kohl Center - Wisconsin Badgers
MacInnes Arena - Michigan Tech Huskies
Century Link Center - Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks

Future:
Want to visit all 6 B1G arenas next year. Already have done 2 but think that would be a fun trip.

Favorite: Mariucci Arena (I'm biased but also love the seating bowl and mixture of modern amenities and old-school feel)
Least favorite: Target Center (horrible setup for hockey)

NHL
Maple Leaf Gardens (Toronto Maple Leafs)
Air Canada Center (Toronto Maple Leafs)
Rexall Place (Edmonton Oilers)

AHL
Copps Coliseum (Hamilton Bulldogs)

WHL
Rexall Place (Edmonton Oil Kings)

OHL
Powerade Center (Brampton Battalion)

OJHL
Milton Memorial Arena (Milton Icehawks)

In the near future, I hope to see a game in Red Deer. Not a far drive from home. May drop in at a game in Brandon if the Wheaties are playing when I'm in Manitoba for Christmas break. If the NHL weren't in a lockout, I'd definitely go to a Jets game too.

I don't remember arena names, so I'll go with cities, also.

NHL
Sunrise
Atlanta
Raleigh
Pittsburgh
Washington, D.C.
Calgary

Seems like there's one missing from that list, but I'm drawing a blank on it...

Minor Leagues
Orlando
Estero

NHL
Winnipeg Arena- least favorite (just an old cold barn and try parking in January!- lot was lit with tow trucks flashing lights)
MTS Center- best atmosphere
Air Canada Center- big but dull crowd
Maple Leaf Gardens
Montreal Forum- at the time, best place to see a game, particularly if Canadiens win
Pacific Coliseum
McNichols Arena
TD Bank Center- big and great crowd
Wachovia Center- see TD Bank Center

AHL
Spectrum- Phantoms game but would have been great in the days of Clarke
Copps Coliseum

CHL
Keystone Center
Kingston Memorial Center
Kitchener Auditorium- best of the few junior rinks I've been in

Favorite: Tied between the PruCenter and TD... Both state-of-the-art, quality arenas.

Least Favorite: I don't have one, really. The logical choice would be the Coliseum, but I visited there once (1-0 Devils win), and it was basically at full capacity with a nice atmosphere. Lots of Devils fans too.

The Coliseum definitely gets a bad wrap, considering its the most "obsolete" venues in the sport. But it may have squeaky seats and sticky floors, and cramped concourses and such, but that all adds to its uniqueness. Maybe it's just me.

Old Montreal Forum/Bell Center
Scotiabank Place
Old Boston Garden/TD
Old MLG/ACC
Old Chicago Stadium/New one (can`t recall the name)
Attended a game in Phoenix a few years back (can`t recall the name) paid 13$ for the ticket
Nassau on Long Island
Madison Square Garden

Had the pleasure to get to many legendary barns, the new one`s were necessary but not one has the same feel as the old barns

Jobing.com Arena

Globe Arena

Cloetta Center

Malmö Arena

...and a bunch I wouldn't really call arenas. I've also been to MSG but not for a hockey game.

Needless to say, Jobing.com Arena is by far the best arena from this bunch. I'd give a slight edge to Malmö Arena before the Globe for second place and then there's a huge leap to Cloetta Center and the smaller places where I've been.

I have a friend in Sweden and his hometown team is Malmo. I can't spell the place from where he's from though...Lol.

Thanks for the posts everyone! I'm sure everyone is enjoying this. Keep it going and when you get to a new arena...update your list!

the cloetta ice looks amazing, but the arena and stands look weird. looks like the made the stands into something like a pentagon.

Cool. I'm sure I know the place since I live in the Malmö area myself. Malmö Redhawks have a billionaire constantly trying to buy success, who built that arena. It is incredible how much money he can spend and still just have a second tier team that sucks so bad that people laugh as soon as you mention the name of the team. It's too bad because the arena really deserves a better team.

It does look weird. I guess the place is pretty decent though given it's small size.
