Ya we should probably get some new guys and forget about these guys eh! We should just keep on drafting first overall too. No, that's too easy. How about we start drafting the next Datsyuk out the 5th, 6th, & 7th round. Yup, that's what we should do. Or maybe we could give some of the boys we got more power play time.

Yeah, Hamilton will become a top 6 NHLer if we give him PP time, if only the coaching staff would've thought of that!

I don't think a lot of people consider that this lockout severely affects the development of lot of players. Yes, of course Eberle, Hall, and RNH need to develop too, but guys who would be getting the ice time to develop won't until the lockout ends. And yes, getting opportunities on the PP, and in other crucial situations is an important part of the development process.

Confidence is key. However the only reason I will be watching the NHL when the season continues is because those 3 went to the minors! Hemsky and gagner are still playing too. When the whole league walked out, and Hall signed a minor league deal to do the "team thing" and play with his pals.

So did Eberle and Hopkins. They could have easily gone to Europe I would think.

I think I heard Eberle gets paid the second least on the team. 6 million dollar NHL player who is second in league points. I wish Edmonton could find some team players.

A lot of people wanted Larson, and a lot of others wanted Couturier.

Maybe earlier in the year some people still wanted Couturier at No.1, but closer to the draft RNH, iIRC, became an almost consensus pick here with Larsson getting some votes.
