Yes, Fowler should be playing and hope he can regain his offensive confidence that seemed to be lacking part of last season.

As for Ryan, perhaps he thought the lockout would be a short one and wouldn't have to consider playing overseas. He didn't rush out like other players, but there will be some backlash because of his comments. Everyone is allowed to change their minds, but sometimes saying less works best for ya Bobby.

Since he had 40 points in his first NHL-season, I would see a breakout year at 60+ points.

True.

Although, 60 points in the NHL is something that isn't done often at all from defensemen

For a player like Fowler, I could see a breakout being 40-50 points, if we see that level of offense with good two-way play. I don't want him to try to be Erik Karlsson, and really, I don't think he's that type of defenseman anyway. Usually, for a defenseman to put up 60+ numbers, they need to sacrifice defense, and that just isn't the way the NHL is played these days(yes, with very, very few exceptions).

Yeah. Guys like Niedermayer who put up 50-60+ points with very good defense are incredibly rare and I would ever expect that out of Fowler. 40-50 points with solid defense on the top pairing would be a breakout season in my mind for Cam.

Cogliano with an assist in his debut. He and Tyler Myers were on ice for a late equalizer though.

What happened to not wanting to take anyones job? I guess this doesn't bode well for CBA negotiations if Ryan has signed overseas.

That was 5-6 weeks ago, nevertheless, some crow eating for Bobby.

The teams in the SEL and Allsvenskan are allowed to have a maximum of two north american skaters on their rosters. Therefor, either Tyler Gotto or Prestin Ryan will now have to leave the club. Both are from Canada, and we all know Bobby Ryan doesn't like Canadians.

It really does bug me that Bobby talks to the media so much. Why can't he just be like almost every other player on the team and say nothing?

Fowler was +2 though. Highlights.

EDIT: Looks like they added a point for an assist on the 2nd goal.

Södertälje lost 5-0. Fowler wasn't on ice for any of the goals.

Cogliano with no points today.

It's a pleasure actually. Weird, I know.

Beleskey with 2 assists in tonights 6-0 win over Dundee.

Sbisa with no points in OTW over Ambri-Piotta, but was on ice for first goal. He now has 5G-5A in 19 games, 53 SOG, and is +/-0 (or +/-5 if you go by Lugano's site). Highlights for Lugano are very scarce, which is quite ridiculous when you consider the quality of the league and the money involved.

Bonino with 4 points on Sunday. Highlights

Beleskey with no points in loss to Cardiff on Sunday.

Fowler on ice for two PP goals today in a 4-1 win, but also on ice for a SHG against.

Sbisa with no points in 2-0 win over Langnau.

Mora is playing tomorrow, don't know whether Ryan will play.

My god, that looked like an awful league. Half of the players couldn't even skate properly, from the looks of it.
