Juve just cut through Chelsea's defense like a knife through butter, good stop by Cech and the post.

Only 8 mins played and there has been multiple two-footed challenges by Galatasaray players already

Anyone tell me if Shakhtar have a strong team out?

I'm guessing they do as they need to win to go through.

Kinda confused here. If Ivanovic and Azpilicueta are on at the same time, who is playing RB? And what position is the other guy playing? Cahill and Luiz are at CB. Cole at LB.

I think they're playing 4-4-1-1.

Oops. FCN were up 1-0, when play was stopped by the ref due to injury to a Donetsk player. Upon re-start of play, Donetsk cleared the ball towards the FCN net, in fair play. A single Donetsk player proceeded to pick up the ball and score.

Samaras!

Completely against the run of play, but I'll take.

That was dirt. Disgraceful from a team I've really enjoyed so far this CL campaign.

3-5-2 done right is an amazing tactical system. Juve have been able to send waves of attackers into the box, and all things considered, they haven't been ripped apart on the counter all that much.

Juve deservedly in front at half-time but Chelsea should have scored at least once
