I was checking out Zagreb on Google street view and it looks like a really cool place. Are Croatians decent, God-fearing people or do they still worship the triune serpent?

Zagreb is very nice city and good for living. You have everything you need for good life and it is not polluted at all.
God-fearing ? You mean are we religious ? Well, 95% of Croats are Chatolics, but how religious (going to Church) they are it depends from man to man.
Tonight was Jeffrey's last game for Zagreb Bears. We offered him extension, of course, but I think loads of cash will flow in his direction from other teams. We put together our best offer, but if he stays, my gut feeling is it'll be solely cause he likes it here.
Oh, btw. we are back on a winning track and leaving Arena as No.1 team in EBEL. Dustin was kept off scoresheet recently, but is having great chances constantly and his PK and D in general are up there with the best in our team - or league if you wish
Edit - from last game opening, hope this could outshine some $$ that we're missing in our offer and lure him to sign on that dotted line today

There were some rumors days ago that PAN (beer company one of the main Medvescak's sponsors) secured money for extension of his contract. How much truth is that we will find out soon...
Jeffrey scored hat-trick today in Medvescak's win over KAC 5:4 after SO.
I will post highlights when available.
Looks like kid was just chilling out under spotlights of Arena and is back in business now
Or his lady-agent really enjoys reading about him so he is just providing material
CroHabitant and NJDevilsZG, thanks for all the great Jeffrey updates! Keep 'em coming.
No problem. Honestly, Dustin was sole reason I've ever ventured to your board (don't remember doing it even when Marty had his 114th shutout )
Cros my fingers that Dustin gives us something to share with you here often
Highlights http://www.laola1.tv/en/int/ice-hock...30-103715.html
Rough second period for our goalie, but he was masterful in third and later on. Too bad it's not in highlights. Surely, Dustin lead the way. Miller #81 too. Seen that Dustin got clipped acros the mouth - well he sure made them pay for it
It must have been one fun bus ride back to Zagreb last night. Too bad boys make a point never to share those highlights ...

Locked-out NHL players hit the ice Saturday night to raise money for Superstorm Sandy victims.
New York Rangers star Henrik Lundqvist made 57 saves in the Operation Hat Trick charity game at Boardwalk Hall to help Team New York beat Team New Jersey 10-6.
Pittsburgh Penguins left wing James Neal scored four goals for Team New York.
Well that was one of those loses that you can't complain about.
Dustin missed an empty net in first period. One even I would've hit. He just looked so pissed that we gave him standing ovation and chanted his name for couple of minutes. Well he did score afterwards, only to make it 1-4 But it's great that he did, cause it was Teddy Bear Toss game So we got to toss them without waiting for the end of the game.
And then we started chanting like there is no tomorrow. Even through commertial breaks. I think boys really tried, but it was one of those games when you just can't even get started. Doesn't matter, it's just one november game.
But your boy seemed to be so pumped and pissed that the game went down the drain, that he was on the ice like every other shift he was taking those 10-minute shifts, I saw him on the ice with practically all lines. It was really creazy
Thing is boys were winning almost all the time since he arrived, and it was first time he and the boys were so dominated in our Den. So he never heard us give them a boost when they've so obviously already lost a game.
Anyway, not that I'm happy that they've lost, but I'm glad we gave Dustin something to remember from his stint here. He deserved that completelly. He's been just awesome for us here. Thrilling and fun to watch, and a genuine scoring machine
For those of you who don't read twitter etc. Sid said today he is closer to going overseas than anytime before since this lockout started.
Just watched a TSN Insider Trading segment where Dreger said he could decide within the next week.
Brisson claims he's fielding offers from all over the world but i imagine most hangup the phone once he brings up the high insurance bill.
Russia, Switzerland and maybe a few other destinations will probably be on the shortlist which we already knew anyway.

#Penguins Sidney Crosby made a last-minute decision to join a training camp in Arizona. Could that be prep work for playing in Europe?

Just caught this about Sid's camp in Phoenix...i'd like to be a fly on the wall to hear that conversation in the dressing room..."you sure didn't see me right? k, just double checking."
"Sidney Crosby (right) has opted to work out the rest of this week in Arizona with several locked out NHLers, including Coyotes defenseman Zbynek Michalek and forward Steve Sullivan, both former Penguins. Also included in the group is Maple Leafs forward and former Capital David Steckel, the player who injured Crosby with a high hit to his head during the 2011 Winter Classic."
