Dzingel and McCormick are both tied for the scoring lead for the Buckeyes. Only 6 points in 9 games but leading nonetheless. Anyone know what's going on with Tim Boyle?

Oh, you're the guy who created that? You have my great appreciation. Very useful. One small note I'd like to add: Is there anyway you can change the databases to eliteprospects.com? I find them much quicker in updating their statistics and seem to do so hourly. If not, still very sufficient.

Ya I find them much better than hockeydb aswell, but their code embedding isn't as easy to read. I changed Wikstrand to it because hdb wasn't updating him at all. Maybe over Christmas break when I have more time I'll look into a better way to display Elite prospects

The Goalie Guide, current McKeens head of goaltender scouting, tweeted this about 20 mins ago:

#Sens prospect Chris Driedger is a perfect 5-0 this month with a .943 SV% and is 11-3-1-1 this season. Team Canada darkhorse?
That would be an amazing development and would certainly make for a more exciting tournament for us Sens fans.

Yup, that'd be awesome. 3 potential Sens prospects on team canada. Driedger, Puempel and Ceci.

Driedger is very long shot for WJC. He played against some weak teams this month, so the stats look nice.

Isn't Calgary also a really strong roster this year? That would also work against him.

Their other G has some bad stats that would work for him.

Eh. The Hitmen are okay. They certainly aren't bad, but I wouldn't say they are an amazing team. They weren't ranked particularly high in the pre-season rankings (not that those are all that correct in the first place) <- the only reason I know this is because there was an article in the newspaper earlier this year about how they (the players) wanted to prove the experts wrong.

The other goalie has also been really bad this year. And the team has played terribly in front of him (it seems like every single time the team chooses to have a bad game, and forget how to play defense, the backup goalie is in net).

This reminds me though. I need to go down and actually watch a game this year, just to watch the guy in action. Not that I'm particularly good at scouting goalies.

Driedger being tested by Lethbridge Hurricanes right now.
29 saves by the middle of the second, score is 1-1.

Hey guys. Just in a fantasy league here and I am wondering about Robin Lehner. If there is a season this year do you see him as the permanent back-up? How about next season? How far down the road until you see him as a starter? Thanks guys.

Hard to say this year. He's running with the ball in Binghamton and the org seems fine letting him play the bulk while Bishop watches. As long as Bishop is adequate I imagine he'll play back up in Ottawa this year though; team wants Lehner playing. That said, Lehner is a solid bet to back up in Ottawa next year and I'm sure the org would love to see him pushing Anderson for starts ASAP. At that point, it's his team if he earns it and if he does, we'll find out whether Anderson wants to stick around or be sent elsewhere.

Of course, that's the ideal scenario IMO. The vibes surrounding Lehner since the beginning of the season have been very positive, so it's easy to think he'll be starting in Ottawa sooner rather than later...he will have to be pretty strong early on if he wants to take it away from Anderson, who's a pretty quality starter. Anderson's contract expires at the end of 2013-14.

Just to cap this off. Driedger had 34 shots in the first 2 periods, while his team produced only 10. Yet Calgary was ahead 2-1. Game finished 3-2 for Calgary, 42 of 44 shots stopped and Driedger with first star of the game

Eff the lockout. I'm so amped about Ceci, Puempel, Lehner, Silfverberg, Zibanejad, Stone, Wiercioch, Noesen, etc. We have some prospects that are just killin' it. I'm happy a lot of these guys are playing together in Bingo this year. It's amazing long-term.

Let this storm blow over Sens fans, we're gonna be in good shape when it's done.

What I'm unbelievably ecstatic about is Robin Lehner. He can give us that goaltending we've dreamed of where the goalie gives us a chance to win almost every game. He is our best prospect and most important, imo.

Followed by our defense. Karlsson, Cowen and Ceci will give us one of the best defensive cores in the leagues for years to come. Follow that off with Spezza and Turris which should be one of the best 1-2 punches in league down the middle and even if simply one of Silfverberg/Stone/Zibanejad/Noesen/Puempel pan out to their potential and another becomes a 50 point guy we'll have three legit top 6ers in one of em and Michalek.

What everyone is missing is the fact that we got one of the highest cap space available in the league. If Perry hits UFA imagine if we snag him especially with the Murray connection and all.

Lawwwwwwwwwwwwwd. Hopefully errything goes well.
