Nobody should be compared to Rolston and get praise for it. No player deserves to be that insulted.

D'Agostini would be a good fit, I def like Raymond though too. Raymond being an UFA free agent and us not ever being able to sign them, for the most part, sucks though. Ideally it would be Volch leaving though and not Tallinder.

Oh common now, yeah he sucked in the later stages of his career but he was pretty good in his prime

The Oilers don't need Tallinder. If they trade Hemsky, its going to be for a bruising d-man, or, more likely, a second line center.

And you have the guys like Ehrhoff that straight up confuse me.

The good Rolston, not the second go-around with the Devils and the Islanders version.

The Boston (1st go-around) and Minnesota version.

I think he means the Minnesota version, not the old and busted version that Lou dumped on the Islanders.

I give Isles fans a huge pass for hating on Winky. He SUCKED with them then all of a sudden goes to Boston and tries.

Would you NJ fans do Harrold and a condional pick for Raymond (If Raymond resigns in NJ its 3rd other wise a 5th). Canucks could use a serviceable righthanded depth d-man.

I would. Raymond is a right winger I think? Either way, I think he'd fit like a glove in DeBoer's system.

The Devils have extra defencemen and not enough forwards, so yes, that would work for us.

Has Raymond's stock really fallen that much amongst Canuck fans?

Seriously just Harrold, and a conditional for Raymond? Harrold's a solid depth defenseman, but that just doesn't seem fair for Vancouver.

My thoughts exactly. If Harrold could net Raymond, I'd love to see what Tallinder would garner.

He's our whipping boy. Some fans IMO really do not appreciate him.

Harrold shoots left. And I don't think I would do that trade either way.

No, Harrold is right handed.

But, yeah, that was the reaction I anticipated from most Canucks fans.

According to this it say he shoots left, but I quite literally know nothing about him. Although I doubt there's much difference between him and a guy like Andrew Alberts.

Lol, this guy played for my favorite team, I know for a fact that he shoots right. But here's confirmation:

http://devils.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8472394

I'm not an expert on Alberts, but I'm sure Harrold is more useful. Not trying to coax you into agreement, but take it from us Devils fans who saw him as a "WTF" signing that blossomed into a key utility guy: he is definitely a top-notch depth player. As we saw last Spring, these types of versatile players are great to have in the playoffs.

Given that, is he worth Mason Raymond? Nah, probably not. But he's worth more than a sack of ****.

Put it this way if Harrold was put on waivers he might be claimed. Still don't think he's worth a Mason Raymond though since he's just a depth guy. A very good depth guy.

It's a slight over-payment for Van. Harrold is not a terrible defence-man and had very good playoffs. The conditional pick should be a straight 2nd rounder, or maybe 3rd, and you've got quite a fair deal to get a rental 2nd/3rd liner.
