I understand both sets of fans not wanting to make the trade based on favorites or make-up of their teams but to say that the other player sucks or isn't a top young player in the game is ridiculous.

Eberle and OEL are among the top young players in the game. Great futures.

Yah they don't. Good think I watched him play.
He didn't handle the physicality of the NHL playoffs very well and was absolutely innefective creating any offence for his team.

He played the most of the defence on his team doesn't mean he played great. I'm not even saying he played bad. I'm just saying he has some stuff to work on his game that got exposed in the playoffs.

His regular season was fantastic. His playofs weren't.

Value's there, but I'm not sure the Coyotes or Oilers would want to do this.

Values there, for sure, but the Oilers don't do this.

From the show Schultz is putting on in the AHL, I think I'd rather see Eberle moved before him. He's gonna suprise some people when the NHL starts back up.

I'd do Eberle for OEL though. That'd be a nice trade for us, especially with Hemsky and Yakupov as right wingers to step in. Never will happen though, and wouldn't be good for the young guys to see their buddy get traded away when marketed as a building piece.

^ and this thread could've been as simple as the last few posts. Good value, but unlikely either team pulls the trigger.

Coyotes can easily have one of the Big 3 wingers for OEL.

Hell, I'd offer Schultz/Klefbom+Paajarvi for OEL if it were attainable.

Actually, his regular season was good, his playoffs were better. This coming from his coach, his GM, and anyone with hockey sense that saw him play. Your looking at stats, and don't understand the game. He was there best defensive defensemen in the playoffs, maybe the best on either team they played. Sorry, to disagree with you on evaluations...

rather have a team focused on wins and not stats!!!

the #1 20 year old d-man on a team that made it to the Western Conference Finals. How can you compare him to a member of a team that continually is on the bottom of the conference?
