Great Niners game tonight, total domination! Kaepernick was amazing, seeing the Niners with a throwing game brought back some great memories. Who starts, Smith or Kaepernick, should be interesting the rest of the season.

Harbaugh said he tends to go with the hot hand. Do you start a QB who is coming off a concussion or do you start the QB who destroyed the "#1" defense in the league?

Most likely the guy who is 26-28 with 4 TD and 0 INT in his last two games.

Alex was on fire too. 26/28 and 4 tds in his last 5 quarters.
With a crapbag of a backup QB and an absolutely terrible Offensive Line ... yeah, you're probably right
Just for saying so though I want the entire SF starting lineup to come down with herpes of the eye
Campbell had no chance. Cutler would have thrown 3-4 picks last night. The only reason Campbell didn't is because he is far more conservative...
The Bears are a very good team when they get up by 3-7 and then force teams to beat themselves. Against very good teams like Sf and Hou, that didn't happen. They played their early schedule well, but they showed over the last 2 weeks who they really are, a playoff team, but not a superbowl contender.

I'm as big of a Smith supporter as they come, but Kaepernick made some throws last night that Smith could only dream about making. I think Smith probably knows the offense better and give the team a better chance to win due to making very few turnovers, but Kaepernick is definitely the guy I would go with starting next season.
Agreed on Bonifacio because he's still young and cheap. But I'm not big on the deals Reyes and Buehrle are signed to right now.
Reyes has always been an enigma. Some years he'll look like a top-10 player, but most years he's an injury-prone lazy player. Buehrle is pretty much the same guy every year. 10-14 wins, 4.00 era, 150 k's, 1.25 whip. He's consistant, but not worth his contract.
But, if Rogers has the dough to spend, spend it. Especially if the top guy going in the trade (Hechevarria) ceiling is not even what Reyes can produce in an average year.

Yeah Kaep has better physical skills than Alex I agree with that but he doesn't have his experience and whether people want to admit it or not..Alex can win games with his arm. Kaep is the future..maybe its next year like you said.

Alex is the guy who has gotten all the 1st team reps since training camp. He is the best guy to run the offense the rest of the year. Harbaugh did a great job saving his starter for the last minute, which kept the Bears from knowing what to expect. They also kept it simple with Kap for the most part.
I'd say the team around him stepped it up and outplayed the guy in front of them. I find it funny the niners fans who hate smith are ready to call Kap the future, but if Smith played a game like last night (or like he did @Ari), it was a good team win.
I know he hasn't developed a qb since Rodgers and they had a bad season, but he's the best coach they've had in a very long time. He'll be hard to replace.

As much as I **** on Tedford..this is a bad move. Injuries really screwed the Bears and he can recruit. Lots of young talent and the future is bright. oh well.

They should bring back Holmoe. I reallllly hope they bring back Holmoe. Feel bad for Tedford, he saved their program. I assume he'll be able to find a new gig pretty easily though.
