Guess it depends on who they can bring in to replace him, but man that's a huge risk that I'm not sure they benefit from taking.
they'll struggle to get 10 for him this january, so no i don't think they'll sell. But who knows. He has to get his **** together though.

He'll probably go to Germany one of these days. It's one of the only championships he hasn't won yet. But first, I hope he coaches Portugal. Our golden days will be soon a thing of the past.

Mourinho will and wants to coach Portugal, but probably when he is in his 60s. Not sure how true the rumor was, but apparently he was offered the Portugal job in 2010 (when they sacked Queiroz) but Real Madrid rejected him coaching both Real/Portugal at the same time

He wanted to install a system where someone would coach Portugal his way and he would control the whole federation or something like that. And then, for big games or tournaments, he would be present. That was rejected.

Podolski's stunner. Typical Arsenal play and great assist by Giroud

Great goal, and I'm even happier about Wilshere's goal. Welcome back.

I'd say Holland is the 7th or 8th league. Still has a decent champion every year, but the problem is the lack of quality of most of the teams.

There's one game to be played, but when I see Mancini and others say that the group was too tough, it's laughable.
City is the most expensive team in football with Barca and Real (in terms of players' value) and for the second year they have failed, this year being so far bottom of a group that features Ajax (and let's be honest, Ajax is a decent team, but not a "great" team).

We'll see if he ever does. He really only takes jobs where the chance of him winning is pretty much better than every other teams. Two, maybe three jobs I see in his future if he leaves Madrid in the next couple of years.

I’d agree that Holland is 7th in Western Europe right now (I don’t know enough about the depth of teams in the Russian league), as Portugal has surpassed them pretty decisively the past few years.

Ajax are a wildly inconsistent team. Heck, they are only 4th in the Eredivise right now. Catch them on a good day, and they can cause trouble (like the Home game vs. Man City). Catch them on an off day, and things can get ugly (like yesterday). All in all, if Ajax can qualify for the Europa league, it will be viewed as a great success…which is sad given the historical stature of the team.

there is more depth in Russia than in Holland I think, simply because of the finances, Holland does a better job developing their own players. Both leagues are pretty competitive when it comes to the title race, usually 4-5 teams have good chances to win it.

Portugal have 3-4 good teams but the rest are average, their coefficiant is real good because Benfica, Porto, Sporting Lisbon and to a lesser extent Braga all usually make the knockouts of the CL and EL, especialy EL

The RPL's getting pretty deep. Outside of the bottom 6 and top 3, the rest are all very close to each other. At least for as long as Terek and the Krasnodar clubs can keep it up.

Giroud is amazing. He is just playing in such an awesome form right now. I knew he can score goals that other players can't, but I'm surprised how good of a playmaker he is.

And that Podolski goal. Amazing.

I found him pretty average yesterday. His shots lack the confidence he had last year.

Of course, he's still tough to defend and if Arsenal could have some wingers who could cross (rather than dribble heads down Oxlade style), he'd score goals every game, but he hasn't found his groove yet.

F Zlatan. That's also straight out of Microprose Soccer on C-64.

Reactions for that and other goals from The Man himself:

Zlatan's goal was better. The Anderlecht goalie should've saved that.

I don't think I agree. Anderlecht goalie didn't have much of a chance with the way the ball dropped in altitude. Joe Hart, however, really should have cleared the ball a lot better to not allow Ibrahimovic his shot.
That said, I guess I'd still consider the latter's goal to be better. Simply because with his, it was obvious what he wanted to do and that he got it done exactly that way. With Mexes, it was nicely done, but I can't help the feeling that he just tried it and it ended up going in where it did. I think he was more lucky.
