rember all the talk east vs west in the MHL in the beginning of the league? and now look at the table, east barely has 8 competing teams, in reality it's 4, and West is 13 teams deep fighting for the p-off spot.
I want to congratulate Shiksatdarov, Fefelov, and Timirev with a debut in the VHL. 4th line so far, but one does have to start somewhere. Meanwhile Red Arny takes a Kharlamov Cup favorite Atlant to a shoot out with 7 96s and 7 95s

THIS, I like this developing MHL-VHL in CSKA system. Hope this is a way how to stop kids leaving to early. I trust in Sergei Federov
well, he still wants to develop in NA, I guess he doesn't think something went wrong. It's teenagers, and when a teenager you don't think in global perspective.
ruining talent in CHL as I said many times. Tolchitsky, Zadorov, Barbashev, Serebryakov etc are next in the line.
Zagrdynskiy is nothing like the others you mentioned. Think how many players are currently in the MHL and think how many of them make the KHL and national teams or even strong VHL contributers. Only a small percentage, there is a good chance he would be struggling in MHL too these things are impossible to predict, so you can't blame the CHL for EVERY individual case. Serebryakov case maybe Kucherov maybe, but not all cases !

Its no argument but his POV. I mean what would Candians say if talents of the calibre of Tyler Seguin, Cam Fowler or Jonathan Huberdeau would leave NA to play in MHL and then they would fall out of the system. Canadian media would have a big campaign against Russian hockey.

well players like Zagradinskiy, Bryukvin are not that calibre so it is no certainty they would be stars even in Russia. Tolchinsky and Barbashev etc I can understand the frustration but for the others its not the same.
forgive my lack of knowledge, but who the hell are Zagradinskiy and Bryukvin?? Never seen them play.
wings5, why do YOU think European hockey community has such a negative view on Europeans developing in CHL? I'm talking nearly everyone- coaches, commentators, experts, ex-players and fans? Are you even aware of the perception towards CHL/AHL in Europe and the extent of the concern there?
If CHL were some golden goose or some factory for DEVELOPING European hockey players, I would understand. But the fact is, it's just not! It's mostly a theater where Europeans come to play to get drafted. CHL's #1 task is developing Canadian talent in their own, unique approach, which is mass hockey. And there is nothing wrong with that- for Canada.

Exactly you don't even know who they are. Believe me I am well aware of this mindset and I fully agree with it, elite Russian players should develop in Russia to complete their development. But the obscure ones who come over and no one knows them whats the harm? It won't deeply affect your system. Keep Tolchinsky, Barbashev, Kucherov, Dikushin type prospects at home but the lesser ones there is no harm at all. That is all I'm saying, as well as the defenceman and goaltenders can develop well here if they come over.
And now he wants his agent to work to keep him in North America, just to put the final nail in the coffin of his hockey career. Agents are wonderful people, aren't they?

Its hard to measure, but I believe there are two areas of loss: (1) lost time, as this kid obviously hasn't been getting any ice time, and (2) lost confidence, from having tried something and failed miserably. At 16 or 17, its harder for kids to rebuild their confidence. Maybe this kid wasn't going anywhere anyway, but its just a shame that agents will prey on these kids and manipulate them just to make a buck.
these are the games that didn't happen (if you look at their corresponding numbers). I doubt they will be played on those dates, rather it's unclear when they will be played if at all.
19-year old striker Club MHL "Krasnoyarsk Lynx" (command of Club Ice "Falcon"), Yaroslav Evdokimov broken jaw in the locker room. Pupil Chelyabinsk Hockey decided to beat and accused of playing against weak "Mechel". Parents say hockey player, he was accused of "draining" of the game and on the orders of the Director team broke the jaw.
