This will be a big game for the Giants. They've been screwing around too much the last couple games, they won't be able to do that against the Packers. It's not a must win, but it makes their route to the playoffs much more difficult if they don't.
- Chilo Rachal quit today after being demoted in favor of Chris Spencer
- Tice called out Carimi/Webb in press and in lockerroom
- Tice also threw Campbell under bus by saying "He hopes to God Cutler is back soon"
- Marshall had confrontation with Rachal/Webb on sidelines
As much as Smith has been through, the Manning thing over the summer really bruised his ego and there was a lot of reports that the organization had to really work with him to make him feel comfortable and like he was " the guy "
If taking a back seat to Peyton freaking Manning bugged him I'm unsure how he'll react to a rookie coming up and taking his job.
I still say if he's healthy he should be the #1. I really don't see the dual threat thing working out...just going to cause issues.
If Kaepernick consistently plays like he did this week, there's no reason Smith should be starting.
Kaepernick will create offense. Smith will manage offense.
Never liked Smith from the day he was taken first overall, and babying his way to a contract after ONE decent year after several years of being a bust just rubbed me the wrong way. Really he should be paying the 49ers back for the money they wasted on his first 6+ years.
