Remember Michael Nishi? He was pretty awful as Mrazek backup last year and was released by 67's this summer.
So he is now playing for Gatineau and allowed just 1 goal in last 3 games. Named Q third star of the week.

Wow. 10 games. I think there was not even penalty on that play.
Interesting that on that day he was named highest ranked draft-eligible player in OHL.

Isn't this a good thing for the long-term? Less wins = Better pick.

Could be worse. Roster is pretty bare without Monahan, the whole team looks to him to make everything okay on the ice, and he's done about all one guy can do.

Yep exactly.

It'll be interesting to see how Ceci and Graovac (who will be back soon) step up with Monahan's absence.

Have found him to be really really impressive as we go forward in his draft year, the 67s are a pretty weak team this year but when Monahan's on the ice you often wouldn't know it.

Groulx gets his first OHL goal. Unfortunately he scored on his own team.

and then Laughton walks around the D and makes it 2-1 Gens just like that.

67's lose 4-2 Ceci 1g 1a

Callaghan gets a 5 min checking from behind and a game misconduct so i think that's at least a game suspension.

67's were without Monahan, Graovac and Gustafson, they had 16 year old Kevin Groulx playing his 2nd OHL game and newcomer Trevor Dulong also 16 years old playing his first.

A good effort tonight but it could be a long 9 game road trip.
