I wonder how they'll use him. Maybe rotate him and Goins between SS and 2B
Wonder no longer sir because I have the answer for you; he'll be used in Buffalo. He won't be making the major league roster. We're talking about a guy who's OPS is under .600 and had a negative WAR last season. Jeff Mathis outhit him last season by a wide margin. Jeff Mathis. A backup catcher.
Much Much Much rather pay a premium for santana then pay for Dickey. At least we would be getting a legit ace.
Legit ace? Sure, if we travelled back to past. He is injury prone, overpaid and so not an ace anymore. Could still be a mid rotation guy if he could stay healthy, maybe more than that but he would be a bigger risk than anybody we have acquired so far.

man what happened to him? back when he used to be a beauty with the twins

He's had a couple really good years with the Mets but his last couple of years injuries have set him back, he's still a good pitcher but he's no longer an ace and it'd be risky giving up assets to get him.

well yes, i think he assumed that. Ryangoins is the ss in buffalo atm. i think the question was if they're going to be moving goins to second. i heard his defence at short isn't very good and i know he's played some second already in the minors

Nor will Goins. Thus my question had to do with Buffalo.
Santana didn't even deserve that no hitter. False hope in him returning back to normal, but his pitches were not nasty in any sense, and Carlos Beltran got robbed of a hit by an umpire.
Jays should consider signing Delmon Young to platoon with Lind. The whole Delmon Yong idea is kinda total puke but he can hit lefties and as long as he is at DH, that's fine.
Hard to see any team giving much money/term or even an everyday job because he is so not an everyday player.

How come no one ever mentions David Cooper? I personally loved what I saw from him before he was forced out with injury. Is he the forgotten man?
Just how much longer will Roy Halladay be pitching for Philly? Before Halladay's shoulder started acting up in midseason, the Phillies had actually had some preliminary talks with his agent, Greg Landry, about an extension that would keep Halladay in Philadelphia beyond next year -- and bring his salary more in line with the $24 million average annual value of Cliff Lee's deal. But Halladay's shoulder -- and the Phillies -- put an end to those talks. ... Now, unless that extension talk resurfaces, Halladay will almost certainly become a free agent next winter. He'd need to bounce back from shoulder surgery and grind through 258 2/3 innings next year to vest his $20 million option for 2014.

Would you be open to the idea of Roy Halladay coming back to the #BlueJays? 9h
So many idiots on here wanting to get rid of Colby.
Just wait.
I'm saying the same thing.
He's going to breakout, he showed more than a flash last year, just couldn't keep the consistency needed for the full 162 game schedule. I think he's the answer to LH power bat to hit 5 in the lineup.
