Chilo Rachal quits on team (literally)

Quote:
Per @vxmcclure23 Trib reporting Bears LG left team after demotion. Rash, unprofessional. Rachal's emotional, good guy. Now demote an OT too.

According to multiple sources, Chilo Rachal became upset after being demoted for Chris Spencer, couldn't handle it, and just left.
Bears are an absolute mess at this point

Webb or Carimi is about to be benched possibly as James Brown was called up from practice squad,, Tice is now in trouble for saying he prayed to god that Cutler will be back thus throwing Campbell under bus and more fun and calling out everyone on OL except Garza/Louis via press

OL quits on team , Our #1 Qb still not cleared to play , OC calling out players and our WR's upset with how routes are designed

And it apparantly was Marshall getting in other OL face during game especially Webb/Rachal on left side and Carimi

Quote:
vaughn mcclure‏@vxmcclure23

Marshall said the rest of the line has to get to Garza's and Louis' level.
Only postives are Cutler is trying to keep things light ,, Saying the OL isn't that bad and can play alot better while joking about gaining 100 pounds to help out

Also Marshall is defending Campbell in press saying he never had chance behind that OL (Always nice to see WR defending a QB no matter how crappy QB was)

I guess we can say we'll never hear from Chilo Rachal again. Then again, I said the same thing after he was thankfully let go by the Niners, so I guess another dumb team might pick him up down the road.

The 49ers have a pretty strong track record in recent years when it comes to the draft, but 2008 is probably the lone exception. Trent Baalke was Director of Player Personnel from 2008-10, so I don't know how much credit/blame you can give him for draft picks during those years under Scot McCloughan, but either way, 2008 is easily the worst draft the 49ers have had in the last 10 years. They got one mediocre NFL player (Josh Morgan) and their first two picks were Kentwan Balmer and Chilo Rachal. What a ****** draft. I guess I can give them a pass considering they have drafted 13 current starters from the 2007-11 drafts.

Rachal has rejoined team (Still on inactive list)

They should just cut him IMO at this point

So he throws a fit and quits angrily. Then calms down and realizes he has no other income and comes back

For punishment, they should make him line up at tackle against Jared Allen on Sunday.

C'mon. He was hurt and the doctor recommended he not return.

I'm not a Bears fan or Cutler fan in the slightest, but you don't get and maintain NFL caliber play if you don't have the desire to play.

Unless he meant his situation with Denver and Josh McDaniels.

Who does that punish? It isn't like the guy hasn't already been embarrassed. Campbell would go out in a body bag if they did that.
