I don't dropshoot, but that's because I'm not good at it, and I don't hate them because it takes skill. I hate people who run around maps with shotguns.
I dropshot, but I honestly don't think it does much. Plus, I only dropshot because when someone sneaks up on me, I grip the controller more and accidentally press down on the RS.

The 870 shotgun is pretty damn good. I was using it for a while, but I got bored of it.
I tried using the KSG (I think that's what it's called), and I absolutely suck with it, but I've been killed by that thing from a mile away. The range on it is pretty crazy, but I could never get a hitmarker with the thing.
I tried dropshot the past few games. Despised it probably because I died more often than not. I agree that it makes it easier for the opponent to get a headshot on you.
I do both because I'm so used to it from BO where i found it really effective and I'm a scrubby little player that needs it . I do agree though, in this game it feels that it's not really helping and I've been doing it less, but i highly recommend strafing to anyone having issues. It's the next best thing besides head glitching although was much better with stalker in mw3, i don't know if there is an equivalent in this game.
I would like to see all of these noobs play cod 4 and try to camp!
Cod 4 isn't the perfect game so many people claim... was it a very good game...was a revoultionary ( for a console ) yes...but it was FAR from perfect.

Ya, i don't understand the idolization of cod 4 when it was a seriously flawed game. Nostalgia i guess
frag x 3
try to play an objective game in cod 4, and you will end up despising it. Don't know how many killcams i've watched that are a person throwing the nade up in the air hoping for a kill.
Also, the m16 is the only guy worth using, unless you want to be one of dem cool quickscoping kids
Playing in parties in the best, simply because you can take over games with your ridiculousness. Me and a couple buddies spent a string of games just shouting Archer quotes at each other. Works surprisingly well.
Loved it when it all lined up perfectly as well:
*hit with a flashbang, promptly shot*
"I'm hit! I'm hit and I'm blind!"
Seems like every is either camping or sniping today, having no fun at all right now .
I find that it varies lobby to lobby, I get in a couple of good ones (competitive but rush friendly) some Ridiculously easy ones, and then games where everyone is camping. It's unfortunate, and I don't like to rage quit so I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall trying to cap B Dom sometimes

I just can't get anything going right now . I've been using the Skorpian and sucking big time. First prestige I was sick with it , now nothing. Guess ill go back to my normal guns : MSMC, PDW, TAR.

What are some good ARs , that are not semi auto ?
An94. Best assault rifle in the game. Heck it may even be the best gun!

I love Carrier as well. It's probably my favorite map in the game. I prefer open-obstacle style maps rather than confined corridor style maps, and Carrier has a nice balance of cover and openness. It's less about locking down 1-2 key chokes and more about having a good team spread. You can succeed with every class of weapon, depending on what movement routes you take.
That being said, I have fun on Hijacked as well. There aren't any maps that I've come to particularly dislike yet.
