No, not good at all. And he was starting to get to a good groove. Best of luck to him.

Does anyone know the status on Lindberg and Fasth?

Lindberg is back but been kind of quite lately.

Fasth team has been on a road trip for over a week, and I saw a report on how Fasth was back on the ice at home making himself ready for a comeback.

Sounds good for Fasth's part & Lindberg will get back in the stride, I hope. Just to throw it out there, Barclay Goodrow had a natural hatty yesterday & it was gorgeous.

Skjei is having himself a good game.

Scored a goal that was waived off, rightfully, there was two Gophers in the crease.

Vermont scored with Skjei on the ice, wasn't at fault. He lost his stick and was trying to cover the puck carrier, three Gophers standing in front of the net not covering anyone and standing around.

Earlier in the first period Bjugstad made an awful turnover at Vermont's blue line, Skjei caught the puck carrier and rubbed him out of the play.

He had a little bit of a rough patch for a couple weeks after the injury, but he's back now getting a regular shift here. Playing the PK, too.

Second period coming up.

Skjei is a very intelligent player.

Just drilled a puck carrier.

He uses his body to, without holding or blatantly interfering, to shield his teammates when they need extra time with the puck.

For those who haven't been watching him this season, you're missing out.

St. Croix is a flat out wizard with the puck.

Even if he doesn't become a consistent NHL player, I can see him being a 13th forward and powerplay specialist.

Scored on a 5 on 3 off an excellent pass from Dylan Wruck.

Awards:
St. Croix scored. A layup for him on the 5-on-3.

TJ Foster, whom St. Croix frequently centers, was a prospect camp invitee for us a couple years back.

Henrik Samuelsson might have talent, but my god is his skating terrible. Like so bad I'm glad we didn't draft him in the top 2 rounds.

St. Croix's line was dynamite tonight. I thought he was extremely poised with the puck, but aside from that one rush in the third, his first few steps aren't that great.

Goal aside, I thought Reinhart looked a lot better than Rielly tonight, too.

I also don't think I saw St. Croix take a single faceoff. He's usually on the wing to start, though I see him drift towards regular center after puck drop. I think he took care of his defensive responsibilities (in terms of getting back) pretty well, though he let his teammates do his work in the corners generally.

Kinda late, but since when does McColgan play for Saskatoon? I thought he played for Kelowna. Guess I missed something...

From the Minnesota games I've watched, Skjei has been good, but it's just unreal how good Bjugstad is. Florida is so lucky to have him.

I'd be satisfied if St.Croix has an impact like Schemp. At least he was a NHLer for a season, which is good for a 4th round pick.

We have/had one of those named Zuccerello. Torts doesn't like those players apparently so St Croix has no future here. Though obviously i think of Zucc more then just a 13th forward but i'll leave that alone in this thread.

Skjei joined the rush very nicely and had the shot from the slot on a 3-on-2, goalie made a nice save, high stick-side. Offensive awareness and skating ability of Skjei are excellent.

Imagine the Rangers sign Foster and these two work together in CT?!! Maybe that'll increase St. Croix's popularity (& Foster's aswell).
