Giroux is going to that chiropractic neurologist in Georgia? Isnt that the same guy that apparently missed Crosby's neck injury and thought it was a concussion?

Welcome back Mac Truck! Hopefully your return is permanent, and also an indication of an imminent season!

If the lock-out ends--absolutely. If not probably only for the holidays.

Stepan has played 5 games in Kalpa and he has 0+1 points. His avg time on ice is 21.33 but he can't get points. Kalpa fans are pretty disappointed in his game and they are saying that he can't pass, he is in bad shape and he is very lazy.

Craig Smith played in Kalpa before Stepan and he had 4+4 points in 8 games.

Looks like Kalpa fans are no more reasonable than Ranger fans.

Though, he may be in bad shape and lazy. I would hope all Rangers playing overseas use it as an opportunity to get in shape and aren't exerting themselves too much and exposing themselves to injury.

He can certainly pass though.

I don't want Stepan playing too hard. This should be a work-out for him to keep himself in shape.

Nash injured again, did not play today. Unknown injury so far. Great, Nash I think its time to come back to the states and relax.

Well he probably is out of shape for not playing for a bit. Give him a few more games and i'm sure he'll be fine.

Yeah, I think so too. Going to watch his game next friday when he is playing against my hometown team Ilves (Max Talbot, Anders Lindback). I hope he will be on his own level soon

Totally, bro.

edit: Don't forget the first rounder, which everyone is convinced will be 1st overall.

The last (and only) time he played less than 74 games in an NHL season was 2005-06. He's not that injury prone at all.

Facts and evidence are for losers.

Nash is injury prone because he's a big fat fatty.

Larry Brooks ‏@NYP_Brooksie

Rick Nash apparently has sore groin. Not believed serious. Out of lineup for precautionary reasons.

MDZ is making progress with every game he plays here, in the meantime he get used to the bigger rink, timing and skating is now much better than in the beginning, he's now able to help our team a lot!
Good defensive work today, but also 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist)

He's more effective when he bangs to the net, which he has done less and less of each season.

I'd prefer the Nash who misses 10 games a season, because it means we'll be getting the 37-40 goal Nash.

Derek Stepan scored his first goal in the SM-liiga today against IFK Helsinki. Nice wrister from the point. You can see the relief from his celebration. Otherwise he was pretty bad. Slow and lazy.

Has 1+1 in 6 games now.

Tweets from the charity game tonight

Andrew Gross ‏@AGrossRecord

Typical Lundqvist. He's made 10 saves in 5:20.
Sorry. Hank = 12 saves six minutes into game. Glove hand has been strong.

Pat Leonard ‏@NYDNRangers

This feels like a real Rangers game Lopsided shots. Lundqvist giving up nothing. Torts would approve of the jam

Andrew Gross ‏@AGrossRecord

Komisarek makes it 3-0 for NY team. Tough outing for Brodeur (this one not his fault) with three GA on six shots. Pyatt with an assist.

Andrew Gross ‏@AGrossRecord

Lundqvist stops Stamkos penalty shot after holding call on Boyle.

Lundqvist with a 17 save SO right now and Brodeur let up 4 on 7 shots. Typical.

But I though Lundqvist was only good because his team blocks so many shots?

Andrew Gross ‏@AGrossRecord

Lundqvist stops Gagne breakaway.

Team Richards leading 4-0 despite being outshot 23-10. Needless to report Lundqvist in good form.
