Having to eliminate someone from your life who you had previously cared for so much is one of the toughest things out there. If I had any advice on how to deal with something like that, I'd be giving it to myself first

People say time heals all, but I'm not buying it. Regrets are terrible. Try to get rid of those and maybe then you can move on.

It's hard to see the world as a different place without someone. It's instinctive to think toward that person's direction. Everything becomes a part of that person and the person becomes a part of everything I do. Whether it's poker or wealth or planning adventures or starting businesses, it always defaults back to thinking of all of these things with that person being a reason why I'm motivated. It's a tough job, breaking things up with people.

I'm not a believer in the time heals all idea either. Time heals all for some people because they bury it away. I don't bury. I like to understand things and wrap my mind around it until it becomes something I can readily comprehend and get over. This one is taking a toll on my energy and spirits though.

All the sadness and emo I project from time to time comes entirely from this. It's been an ongoing problem for 4 years and counting now.

Meh. At a certain point post-count gets to birthday status where you're not so impressed you've gotten any higher

For the sake of the title of this thread, I'm holding off on a username change. While on the topic, any suggestions?

If I had suggestions for you, I'd give them to myself. Ah who am I kidding, I'm not really looking for that right now.

As for hair... If I got a buzz cut, let's say a 3 on the sides and a 5 on top, my hair would probably grow to that length in a couple of months.

I grew my hair out to long lengths my freshman and sophomore years of college. Freshman year I went from August 08 to July 09 without getting a haircut #sickflow #hagelinstyle

Also Jason,

My number one New York tip: if you can, do anything in your power not to get time Warner (unless you like paying for 30megs, and gettin less than one)

Nils, in Canadaland, we pay $75 for 3MB and end up getting like 1/2 MB.
Canadaland has one of the world's worst first world internet service at one of the most inflated price.
The cost of living in Canada when you take everything into consideration: insurance, gas, groceries, cars, utilities, real estate etc. into account is at least 1.5X that its American counterpart. I might actually be saving money by moving to the outlier areas of NY.

But ya, which cable/internet provider should I go with then? I see all the commercials for all the American cable/internet providers and I can't figure out which one is better and who's got the better commercials and who's got the better service and prices etc. etc.

Still sounds better than time Warner

Everyone knows, if you can, get Verizon FiOS. It's such a big deal, it would be part of the "location" charge of your housing

With Verizon, you pay for 30MB, and get 50

Well, someone better draw me a map then! It's not like I use the internet for much else other than poker and poker isn't happening in the US so there's really no need for all that much speed other than for the 200GB of porn I download every week.
